    Under rated and under utilized product. I use it for jambs after a full wash, and a heavier waterless dilution for finishing coated wheels after a quick blow dry.

      People forgot about it with new stuff coming out. But Ech2o is still hard to beat. I reach for it first before anything else.

    I pretty much exclusively use this as a drying aid @ 1:20. Performs well and really like it because it won’t make my drying towels hydrophobic. This is key. I don’t find it to steak @ 1:20 as a drying aid. YMMV.

    You're preaching to the converted here, I've been using it for a year or so, but I watched the whole video anyway, to pick up any tips I wasn't aware of. I find it such a versatile and easy to use product, it will definitely be part of my arsenal for years to come. I really notice the gloss it leaves behind, it makes my FJ look so good.

    I tried using it as a WW yrs ago and although it works I always found it needed a final buff, so then I used it as a RW and BAM....amazing product❗️❗️
    I use 2 oz to 3.5 gallons of water as I pre-treat always when doing a RW and love how it cleans but more importantly the gloss it leaves behind 😎
    I have other products to use when I want a stronger clean, nice having options😉

    I need to revisit this product, I used it years ago and ended up giving the rest of the bottle to a friend. My go-to drying aid after having water on the surface has been Absolute at 64:1 because it provides the necessary lubrication, leaves a touch of gloss/slickness but doesn't build up any lasting protection (its gone within a few days). I also don't have to fight any streaking or smearing. One pass with the drying towel and I'm done. Even on glass, anything visible left over just flashes away.

    I get a few smirks when I recommend people to try ech20. I really love it for a drying aid. Direct sun huge help spray post wash and if it dries spray more reactivate it when I get to that panel. I have all the other “big players” of rinseless, but I keep ordering more and for some reason pull it back out and it always surprises me. I guess people don’t understand how concentrated and versatile it is. Quick interior cleaner also works amazingly well. I like rotating one rinseless with and one without protection.

    Very informative video as always. I am curious if you ever used cheater wax? I received it in a mystery box from FAB Automotive. It’s a drying aid and I used it once and it seemed to work well. Would be curious to see what you think of it if you’re interested. No protection, just a drying aid.

    Really impressed with Nv's boost V2 Mike. That said i haven't used a small faction of the products you have. Love ech20. But i going to buy ecowash and idrosave when they come out for something different. I've used ech20 on glass and it worked fine. GREAT SMELL!! I use it for years and it`s the first time I hear it has carnauba in it.
    For me the hazing is extreme and I cannot use it as a waterless wash.
    But as a quick detailer is awsome, it leaves real protection and has smoothness and gloss.

    How does this compare to ONR? I need something with a bit more cleaning power. Was thinking of trying out Ech20 but the streaking is a worry for me. I have had issues with carpro perl as well.

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      EcH20 won’t streak as a rinseless wash. It does do a good job cleaning. You may want to consider DIY detail rinseless wash as well as that will out clean both of these. I also have the new McKee’s 37 N914 V2 to test out.

    Mike has this product been modified ? Also what type of protection does it leave behind

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has not changed since it came out. Expect about 2-3 weeks of protection. It’s not meant to be durable protection. It lasts longer if mixed at a higher dilution but it can be streaky.

  • @martinp8427

    How does the CarPro EcH2O compares to others rinseless washes? Does it feel slicker or glossier than a McKees 37 Sio2 rinseless? Is it slick as ONR V5?
    I have tried EliXir and I was happy with it, it was a great topper after ONR wash & wax, so I am curious about other CarPro stuff.

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Right off the bat I don't think ONR V5 is slick based on my experience using it when drying the surface. Yes it has good lubricity when washing the surface. As far as Ech2o it does feel slicker than ONR V5. I can't recall McKee's SiO2 rinseless as I no longer have any.

    • @martinp8427
      @martinp8427 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MikeGDetailing Ah yes, I was strictly speaking regarding the rinseless washing experience between those products. McKee's SiO2 was slicker when washing and drying, compared to ONR Wash and Wax V4, so they might be on par with CarPro EcH2O. Might give CarPro a try, just for the small amount of silica left for protection after wash. Thank you for the reply and keep them coming!

  • @na.s54
    @na.s54 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Have you used Wolfgang uber sio2 ww? It looks identical in that light blue color as ech2o. I wonder if they give the same experience. I love the uber sio2, and am wondering if I should bother trying ech2o. As you know, 32oz can last a looooong time when you only need a half ounce or so for every drying aid bottle :P

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not used the one but I suspect it is similar or if not the same as the McKee's ceramic rinseless. With that said the McKee's worked very well and unlike Ech2O it will leave durable protection behind for about 3-4 weeks. Ech20 has better slickness and the better look.
