And here picture is not so rosy. Everything is so expensive, from childcare to rents to food. Scott and Ed should try to survive on average wage in NYC and tell me how economy is doing great.
The solution is to tax the winners of this economy and fund programs to help middle class families and spur the economy for middle class Americans. Having a strong sector is GOOD. Use the sector to fuel growth in other parts of society.
The lowest quadrants inflation adjusted earnings went up 2020 to now. It’s been going down slowly for 25 years, this is the first time things have gotten better for them

You guys are smart so you must know this…..prices have not gone down …price growth has slowed …the cost of living in America is still super high after the inflation surge…combine that with high interest rates crushing home loaners and working families just have less money to spend in quality of life . The gdp growth is good …but much of that is just increased govt spending - subtract that and it’s lacklustre. All that said America is an economic super giant -but it’s still tough for the average person . That’s why the dems are not doing cartwheels about it in their messaging
