Despite Zach LaVine’s career-high 51 points (19-32 FG, 7-13 3PM), the Chicago Bulls fall to the Detroit Pistons, 118-102. Cade Cunningham led the way for the Pistons with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists, while Jalen Duren added 23 points (9-11 FG), 15 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory. DeMar DeRozan tallied 20 points and 4 assists for the Bulls. The Pistons improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Bulls fall to 1-2.

This is the guy to put along Side LBJ and AD and try something. Lavine fan since his rookie year where all the talk was about his dunking ability and flying but years pass and he proves he has the same working mentality that Kobe had. He is just a gym rat and every year he improves and he is clutch! He would bring what LBJ can do on a daily bases and what AD brings every other game.

In the nba there isn't a lot of team game, but in these Bulls there is no team game at all.. there are nba teams with better connections between players

I don’t want to hear the doubters saying Lavine isn’t a star in this league. Billy needs to be on the hot seat and moves need to be made by the deadline. Bulls also need rim protection badly… How many dunks did the Pistons have tonight? Surround Lavine with Two Way and 3&D players. Players like Caruso and Carter. I expect Derozan to be traded by the deadline along with some of our young guns potentially. Vuc is one of the better skilled big men but he’s not a rim protector, he scores and rebounds. You compliment him with someone like a Poeltl (TOR) or Robinson (NYK). Bulls also need three points shooting… They missed out on Grant (POR) when he left the Pistons. The biggest mistake was signing Ball and the from office are idiots if they don’t realize that one guy can’t decide the fate of your ball club.

Lavine could’ve been a top 10 player if it wasn’t for the Derozan trade. Derozan is only effective when he can go one on one from the top of the key, which means everyone else has to stand around and watch. That plus clashes with the coach have held him back the past couple of seasons.
