I love seeing parents support children. I really feel like we all come with talents but some parents don’t foster those natural talents in children. So proud of the mom for seeing her daughter and giving her the support that she needed❤
Its because they allow schools to DICTATE what their child is good at based off school grades. When infact, we are born with individual talents, they aren't taught at schools.

This teared me up when my sister sent me this video, because I had enrolled my 6 year old in sewing class and was wondering if she was too young , but I was encouraged my her instructor that she was not, because her daughter stared sewing at 4, so I’m also happy to see this young lady making history. 😮 👏🏽 My daughter started showing similar signs, whenever she got dress she would switch up her clothes and show me how many different ways she can wear it or how it could’ve been designed differently. I was in awe that she kept doing this, so I started taking pics of her and I got her first kiddie sewing machine with the intent of her learning how to sew, so she can make and design her Barbie clothes for her and her friends and eventually she would decide see if she desire to take it further. I thought even if she didn’t become a designer but it would be a great life long skill to have. This was so encouraging to watch and couldn’t wait to share this video with my baby girl. ❤
She loves sewing class and I cannot wait to see where it takes her!

I had a friend whose daughter used to design clothes for dolls when she was in elementary school. She's now a college graduate and nothing has to do with clothing designing. Her dad is an architect. A lot of things are in our DNA.
I am glad her mom helps mold that little fashion designer. My mom didn't but my paternal grandmothers helped me with my creativity.

Love the fact that she still giggles and jumps in excitement like a child amidst all the fame. This is a classic example of channeling childhood right and not robbing the child of childhood at the same time. Shout out to the Grandma...I will sincerely love to meet her. And of course much love to the mummy for taking it a step further from where the Grandma started. You daughter is a proof that delibrate nuture brings out the best in a child's nature... I hope all parents will learn from this and apply it not just in Arts but in character development too.

I love the lavender dress. The others are great also. This story reminds me of me and my granddaughter. She used to cry also when she was just a little girl like 3 or 4 if it wasn't skinny jeans or if her hair wasn't a certain way. I didn't understand because kids just didn't start being so particular at that age. I knew she would be a designer. I taught her how to sew by hand. The machine I bought her wasn't advanced enough yet. She loves to model also. But I believe she will be that designer one day.

Let me keep pouring into my babies ✍🏽😌 because this is beyond phenomenal. Sometimes I would complain about the cost of makeup 💄 I buy for my daughter who is a young super talented makeup artist 👩🏽🎨 ( she’s been doing weddings & proms /since she was 18yro & they pay her for travel expenses etc). She’s now 20yro in College Full time & Still balancing all her booked & busy makeup clients. Watching this reminded me that my investments into her artistry hasn’t been in vain ! My 16yro is also an artist 👩🏽🎨 except she paints canvases 🖼️ & nails 💅🏽 instead of painting faces like her big sister. They’ve done mall pop up shops that sell out . Canvases published locally in art magazines! Thanks for this interview ! Needed this reminder to keep helping my kids cultivate their gifts & multi talents

I was deeply moved and even shed tears just now. I'm grateful to her grandmother for teaching her sewing. It reminded me of my childhood when I had a strong passion for drawing, but my father discouraged me, saying that drawing would be useless in the future. It's very worthy that each parent support kids' dreams or passions.
Great. Talents and are abilities are like precious stones deposited in side of everyone of us. Just need the right person and circumstance to bring them out. I also started very early but with lil or no encouragement.
But continuity is the rule of the game.
I have totally fallen in love with Miss Brook Lauren! She makes fashion so exciting. I will definitely continue following her, because this young lady has a very bright future!

8 yr olds theses days want those lame LOL surprise toys yet this girl wants to create. Good for her! Her reaction to the gifts was the best part of the clip. She is awesome. I wish I could sew like my mom. Its a good life skill. I can't sew but I learned to crochet from YT.
