Regarding the question starting at 34:02, we are taught so much to avoid pride because God hates it, that we think were being humble by putting ourselves down, thinking we're not good enough, we want others to be the missionaries and the leaders .

If God regretted making man, can someone explain how that demonstrates God's love? Genesis 6:6
"And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. "
And, when Moses had to talk God out of wiping out the Israelites?

This is a very bad analogy but I can't think of a better one now: say you have a cat which you love very much but for some reason this cat is always eating sth poisonous that makes it terribly sick and in incredible pain. You hate to see if suffering, and you've tried everything to make the cat stop eating that poisonous thing but let's just say it is impossible to make the cat stop. Your love for the cat may make you consider killing it rather than watching it suffer so much. Another analogy: if someone's leg gets consumed by cancer or some other incurable disease, love for that person means amputating the the affected part rather than allowing it consume the entire body and eventually kill the person. In the OT, people could not be transformed the way they can be transformed now by the Holy Spirit today, so past a certain point of evil, the only solution may be to kill that population in order to save the rest of human race. I hope this makes some sense.
