This a well put together documentary. Frank is articulate and passionate about life. I boxed for his brother’s club Camperdown ABC. in Dundee. His brother Dennis was a big man in the boxing world and mine from 1973-81’. Jim Munro was my trainer for my first 2yrs sweetheart of a man.
Dear Mr Gilfeather, I seriously touched by your story. I'm a Boxing fan for as long I can remember. As you can guess by reading my name, Andrew Leverington, I am from English soil. However, born in the Netherlands. I'm a trainer/coach just like you. Love to train with the youngsters and helping them coping life's surprises. I had a wonderful coach myself and without him, my life would n't have been the same as it is now. So yeah, Boxin' brings you so much more than just throw a couple of punches. I'm a bit younger than you are, but still training and enjoying the Boxing game. Being in my early seventies does n't prevent me from livin' the sport. Seeing you, boxin', trainin' and tutorin' , makes me all the more aware of what we can contribute to all those young lifes. Thank you ever so much for sharing your knowledge and ability. Most sincerely, Andrew L.
Love your videos sir,I used to box for Hurlford ABC Tom Brown and John Bennie were coaching, many years ago,I'm 52 now, still training. I lived in Aberdeen a long time and trained at Granite city a while. Keep it up sir you're an inspiration.
