Matt, I've been to your concert in Ivano-Frankivsk back in December 2019. You might or might not remember my friend being an absolute fanboy for solid 10-15 minutes afterwards. We're still here in Ukraine doing what we can. Just wanted to say it was one of the best nights in my life and thank you so much for everything, including this one. Cheers.

Hi Matt. i was watching an interview with a Ukrainian child today and was reminded of the characters from Turtles Can Fly, a film that was so hard to watch i don't think i can bear to go through with it again. It focusses on the impact of war on children, especially orphans. Thinking about the fate of children and the little boy i saw who may have seen his father for the last time, I'd like to thank you for sharing this piece. It does evoke the depth of chaotic pain in that child's eyes that leapt from the screen. Beautiful sad eyes ringed with purple full of confusion and fear. My heart is heavy. i felt he probably won't ever see his father again. The 21st century is horrible so far. Appreciate your music and the catharsis.. Sublimating pain is one of the only things we can do at this stage. Thank you for the humanity. A lot of music doesn't feel right in the circumstances.
