I blame Mark Davis. We could have had Kingsbury, but Davis didn't want to give him a 3 year deal because Pierce was signed for 2 years... WTF was the problem?!?!? If Pierce didn't work out, they could have made Kingsbury the head coach. If it did work, give Pierce an extension. This isn't rocket science.

Mark Davis should have never fired Jon Gruden and Derek Carr. They had an identity. When Antonio Pierce (AP) and Luke Getsy are fired the team will move on the right direction. If Josh McDaniel's would have lost to the Panthers you would have been screaming for him to get fired. AP and Uncle Rico both looked lost during the game.

I've never liked this offensive coordinator but I saw some film. Breakdowns of an arc quarterback was not keeping an eye on who was open. They were open receiver. She could hit Adam's a couple of times and he didn't throw it. It looks like he was getting happy feet.
It will not happen but I wouldn’t mind giving Brady his first OC job he knows football he knows how to mentor or coach he is an alpha leader and respected
I think we agree that we didn’t want Getsy. But if we fire him then you need someone internally to call the plays. You can’t just install an offense during the middle of the season

AP said he was impressed with the game plan Getsy had when the Raiders lost to the Bears last year with Tyson Bagent. When in reality that game was exactly like this last game. A complete lack of preparation by AP and the staff.

I had soooooo much hope for this season because literally the Raiders have three Head coaches. Tom Coughlin as a consultant, Marvin Lewis as assistant head coach and Antonio Pierce . So how can it be this bad?
I said before the season started that the most critical job in the organization would be the offensive coordinator. I'm not sure if it's time to fire him yet, but it's close.

The Raiders screwed up even when they called Getsy in for an interview. The enhanced that screw-up by hiring the guy after he bombed and was fired in Chicago.
Raiders lack an offensive identity. They said they want to run the ball and throw it deep then there should be no reason why we mostly run our offense out of the pistol. We should be in I Formation. Best formation to establish the run and if you’re running your pass plays out of it it’s harder for teams to guess if it’s a run or pass. Opens up play action.

The FACT that it's 3 games in and we are running the same garbage as last year, wanting to fire coaches, not having a quarterback, and to top it off, our O Line is the worst I've seen since the Norv Turner days...tank the season, fire everyone go get a quarterback, and re unite Brady and Belichick, because the Raider way is the Mark Davis way, which has put this franchise as one of the worst in the last 20 years!!!

offense has no identity is the key point here, yes the team as a whole needs improvement but we can’t stay competitive and consistent on offense . the panthers used all options to attack our defense and looked very comfortable, our players on defense looked hurt tackling horrendous (was at the game) this is true and it made the panthers look like a legit football team . Our week 2 win was a defensive highlight and it seems like week 3 was a continuation of a call to our defense to keep us alive to win the game

Philbin worries me the most. Not been a good year for old dudes.. I like Turner because of the family connections. But Steckel would likely be the most probable to to turn into a good OC if you give it to him long term. I dont think we have the luxury of waiting for him to develop.
