I remember watching this when it came out!!! It was fan projects like this that had a huge impact on me when I was younger and really pushed me to becoming a writer!!! For the first time, I saw people who were into things I was into, telling amazing stories! Always hoped for a continuation. The stories just too good!
What's funny is that an IGN article called mama "The Joker". While a female Joker is not unheard of, they forgot one thing. When Jason asked if she was joking, she said "Wrong clown".
You know, as me being a HUGE batman fanboy I was a bit skeptical at first with this series, I wanted a nightwing series true to the comics (which ismahawk has already done beautifully) but, after watching these again, I really have come to appreciate this.. This is one of the BEST fan films I have seen in a long time. Great acting, the cinematography was dope, and I especially love the hints and nods to the normal bat universe (I especially like Jason's yellow jacket with red shirt nod.. And idk if intentional, but mama's line "upset the establish order" as a nod to the joker in the dark night) You guys really did your homework.. Keep up the great work.. This series is Awesome!

I also can't wait to see what direction you take Jason Todd, I wasn't really expecting him to be involved in the story way back when I first watched the first Grayson episode but I'm damn glad you are including him; I love Jason Todd as Robin and the Red Hood! This episode was so tense. The way she circled around him with that tire iron... I know what tire irons are used for when it comes to Jason Todd! This series is amazing.
Noah Jaques forgot about that but I think he was just confusing the tire iron and the crowbar but yea, that was iconic, him trying to steal the tires of the batmobile
I love how they say jason stole an emblem off of Bruce Wayne's car it's a nod on how he met batman in the comics. He was caught stealing I believe either the hub caps or the tires from the bat mobile
This was amazing. Honestly, episode one was very good, but this simply blew my mind! The scene, this one, single in front of Todd's door was the most emotional, stressful and in a way disturbing piece I saw in ages. You know immiedately that nobody could be brought up there and not end up as a criminal. Mother's desperate struggle for better future of her younger son, Jason's love for his brother, all that is simply amazing.
WHOA. Way to go into the darkest Robin and really emphasize it. That was gripping. Better than the first episode. THANK YOU. This hit my feels and made me care for a criminal.
I feel like such a traitor because I was brought here by ismahawk, and Nightwing the series was by far my favorite fan film, but now I have this and it doesn't compare to anything I've ever seen before. Keep doing what you're doing, Hisonni!
Excellent writing and acting! Most fan film projects always lack in these two departments, favoring action and special effects. I really hope the hard work of you guys is greatly appreciated.
Tania Nolan Always the bane of any creative project. Things like Kickstarter and Indiegogo are fine, but come with restrictions and no guarantees. It seems trailers and intense action scenes get the most attention and money. I feel that is the reason Nightwing the Series and Nightwing: Prodigal Son managed to get funding.
Anarchistnation02 When it comes to funding, it certainly does. People want to see what the actions scenes look like first, then the story after. Fighting is what gets them excited to give money to a fan project such as this. The other series are more flashy, hence they get more attention. This is basic marketing. Hell, just look at Batinthesun's videos. They have plenty of skits in which comic characters are just talking, but the videos of the fights get way more views.

i've been a bat fan for a very long time i've seen everything from the 1943 batman tv series to the newest DCAU movie batman vs robin and this has got to be one of the best bat family related things i've ever seen i love everything about this the colors jason wears the homage to jason stealing the batmobile's tires momma picking up a tire iron while talking to jason setting up the timeline by talking about wayne/powers industries deedee's parents dying bonnie and clyde style meaning joker and harley are probably dead EVERYTHING about this is simply amazing and i can't wait for it to continue keep up the amazing work

This is the best DC fan film/series that I've seen. The stories surrounding the different robins are the most intriguing. The choice actor for Jason was just perfect! Can't wait to see what you guys do next 💛
This was great. There's always the problem doing alternate universes that it's just not going to be accepted. And for fair reason, a lot of AU's aren't well developed. The stories don't always flow that properly. But what I think you have right here was absolutely beautiful. Upon reading your comments below it's extremely clear that you thought about A LOT. Story aside, the cinematography was phenomenal, as to be expected from that first episode. And great great music selection. 10/10
+Sole Survivor well it's because he started out very young here like maybe 23 years old two years younger then when the Batman we know started he was not ready for any partners at this time

It's pretty awesome, seriously I hope to see that series have the same as Mortal Kombat Legacy! I love that, it's dark and I like this new ''Earth''. I think since The Joker doesn't exist in that universe, Mama is The Joker of this Earth but with another name and the complete opposite of him. We also see in the first episode that even if Dick Grayson is likely Nightwing, he's way different than the original so I think in the future we can see new character with different role (for exemple maybe we can see a dude who is Scarecrow but with another name and personality, or even a bad guy in the original being good in this Earth.) Well, honestly I don't know if I can be right and I don't care cause it's really good and I want more of it! You guys are awesome. Oh and Tania Nolan is pretty badass here, I hope to see more of Mama!
