Oh my goodness! Where was this when so was teaching my classes storybook! This video was amazing. Definitely going to implement some of these techniques in my classroom
Hello teacher Val 😊 thank you for sharing your work . I like when you add funny videos to explain vocabulary the way you change your voice . it's just amazing
In my lessons I use the storybooks from the "Follow the Rabbit" book series. Chinese English teachers use Yilin Oxford English textbooks which are used in all primary schools in China.
Hello! I’ve watched your household chore video and been wondering on how did you make the (image reveal, dialogue with points and the minesweeper games. ) thank you.
Hello Val, I just came across your channel and it's amazing and really helpful🔥 Where did you get those books from "follow the rabbit" series though? I tried to Google but I can't find them anywhere. Did your school provide them?
These books were published in China and I don't think you can google them. Also, they are quite simple so I adapt each book to the needs of my students. There's a lot of me in these lessons. :))
I see. Can I look them up on Taobao? I've been in China for 2 years and now I'm working in a primary school. I'm still struggling with it because the school doesn't have a fixed curriculum and it's a big problem for me to decide what to teach. I would really appreciate your advice on where to get materials such as these story books😊
@@story5285 Yes, you can. Drop me a line @valerijusc@hotmail.com. I'll share my wechat with you and give you a taobao link. You can also buy some PowerPoint lessons in my store at Teachers Pay Teachers and you can also look up Matthew Van Orden. He's a good friend of mine who also has a TH-cam channel. He shares his lessons and ppts which are amazing! You have my word!
It doesn't really happen in my class but sometimes they are reluctant to read, yes. If it happens, I clap my hands once or twice and ask them to read it again. It usually does the trick. :))
Thank you for your support! You can go to my store and buy the lessons there. I don't have many uploaded but I have just started and will be uploading more lessons soon!
Thank you ,Val,how much we appreciate your amazing work! We can't stop saying you are a great talented teacher !

Hello teacher!
How many times a week do the children learn English?
Every day. However, they have my class once a week.
@@Teacher-Val great 👍
And how many hours a week do they learn English? They speak so fluently 🤗
Thank you for teaching techniques. I wish I had a material like this to teach my kids. Is there a teacher to download?

This kinda reminds me of Dumbo the flying elephant. You can just call him Dumbo. Not just the little elephant LOL
Well, the character in the book is called The Little Elephant so I just went with the story. :)
Great as usual.

Thank you Val, i have a question, what if the students do not read together in chorus, what to do in this case?
