this video was ok..although i am bit confused still..how do you know which options to press? Original key? Also ID48? how do you know which ones to choose? Also in the video, showed off camera, what was he doing after sniffing? Do you turn key or leave it inserted?? camera didnt show that
01:34 - He is following onscreen instructions to run the ignition on and off and remove and re insert first the original 2x and then each new key is inserted / learned and programmed in sequence as the programmer requests. it's very difficult to read the info on the screen due to this uploads quality, but the process is incredibly simple with the Xhorse tools. Trying to read the screen in this video is harder than this whole process. let me know if you have any more questions - LU
I tried to clone a key for a 2004 Honda Accord but it said: "not support chip" and something about a "SuperChip" required. Then I tried to clone a remote FOB for a 2005 Pontiac Montana SV6, same as GM Uplander, but the VVDI mini keytool said: "SN2 modle detected, speical clone only support wire key, please change key module" (I copied it exactly as written) I contacted Xhorse and they confirmed I needed their special products. Perhaps they should've included the "Superchip" along with the product, or at least disclosed the requirement. I sent it back.
This is a good example due to the 17 and up models need 2 recognized keys to on board program a new key.

Intresting is that you dont need to write the key in to the car to start the car , why is that ?
because the new keys are "clones" of the orginal key, so the car thinks its the orghinal key, not key 1, 2, or 3
