I was really expecting to have this experience during my five weeks in Slovakia in April/May. I was so sure it was going to happen, I wouldn’t make reservations for accommodation until I knew my train or bus was going in the proper direction! Thank you for all your help and prepping me for my pan Slovak Tour! It turns out, no one was interested in my Slovak. Even in the smallest villages, the people wanted to practice their English with a native English speaker.

Yeah if I was as careful as you, perhaps I wouldn't have found myself in that situation hah
I've had that same experience, whenever an opportunity comes up to practice Slovak, the person and I tend to just speak English instead because they want the practice 😆

if its on top of the display, its from where it goes, middle is for stations its passing and bottom is destination
the river, its where Vah joins Orava, and even tough Orava river is bigger at that point the river is called Vah.

What new parts did you get for your computer, vid card etc

I still have the same video card, a humble T600, but I went from a sixth gen intel i5 & 16gb of ram, to a Ryzen 7900 with 64gb of ram. Whew is it a nice difference! I was thinking of doing a video on it...but I thought I'd keep keep things directly related to Slovakia for now 😎
