- Hey Nezzle Fam! In today's video, we go hashing in Soubise, St. Andrew, Grenada. This hash was done in honour of Mr. Telfor Bedeau. I love grey skies so much. The scenery is so much nicer, colors are more vibrant whereas bright sunny days washes out colors.
Really? I like grey skies cuz it’s cooler but I love blue skies generally.

Soubise waterfall is gorgeous. It looks like 3 waterfalls in one. A hidden gem. Never knew it existed until now.

din know it had a waterfall in Soubise . The red flower is supposed to be a Hibiscus ..So your hashing and hiking vlogs are appreciated . Your music seems always in sinc with your videos .. Great work ..

I've never heard of a hash before, sounds like a lot of fun. I left Grenada back in 1991 after graduating GBSS, looking forward to returning soon and eating my belly full of sapodillas. Haven't had any since 1991!!!

I’ve always seen chocolate covered strawberries on tv but I’ve never had them. Strawberries cost an arm and a leg here lol but I’ve had them before and I enjoy them as well. I am doing great. I hope you are as well 🤗🤗

Yes, many of the hashes are in the countryside so I tend to be up country more often lately. I’m not a fan of sapodillas but they seem to be a favorite of many. My dad loves them too.

Like you plum is my favourite as well. I love a starch mango, pineapple,pommerac etc but when plum in season I can eat the tree.

I always hear about Soubies but of course need been there. Its looks nice. Everywhere in Greenz is nice .So Good to see the hiker still doing his thing. I met him in 2018 he has stories for days.

I had the pleasure of picking my own plums recently! My mangoes of choice are lung,starch,palwee and a few more. Grenada is saturated with Julie I find ( not complaining just observing)
Yes we have a lot of Julie and Seylon mangoes here. I’m glad you were able to enjoy some plums recently. I was able to do so as well.

That appears to be a "baby" waterfall at the beginning... Or was it just the camera angle? Would have been nice to see a person next to it, for perspective. Lovely hash. Nice little tribute

I'm particular about just the right mango for various times and dishes and most young coconut(s) are at least refreshing. The sharp tart fruits are all about the same to me just slightly different aromas. So guavas, star fruit, kiwi and down to tamarind are more for juices. Citrus are too varied to go into details but for a single exotic I guess sapodilla as an ice cream flavour is a stand out personally. I could get addicted to good avocado though.
I think we’re similar in that I don’t have just one favourite fruit. Additionally, I only like my mangos hard and preferably a little young. When it’s overly ripe I don’t want it. If it fell and hit the ground, I probably won’t want it. lol clearly that’s a privilege of having multiple trees around me but currently that is how it is. If I ever live somewhere else though, I’m sure I’d be happy for any mango 😂

I don't have any one favorite fruit. I love multiple fruits but there isn't one that I can think of that stands out above all the others I love. I also don't have a favorite color ... coming to think of it I don't think I have a favorite anything. Is it normal, in your professional opinion, for a person to not have favorites?
I try not to use the word normal in situations like these lol. I think it really differs from person to person. I have favourite colours and favourite fruits. I don’t narrow them down to just one. Even with friends, I have best friends. So maybe we’re more similar than we realize.

Thanks! I googled your question and this is the response I got: ‘Banana Bunch Covers can protect the skin of the fruit against wind damage, leaf, insect and some bird damage as the fruit matures. As the ripening gas released by the bunch is trapped inside, the bats and birds etc. are not attracted to the bunch in the same way as not having a cover.’

Is hashing an organized event, like a marathon, but for hikes? If so, how participants find upcoming hashings?
Yes hashes are organized events which are similar to hikes. There’s a Facebook group called Grenada Hash House Harriers and they post the details of each upcoming hash on Wednesday of each week. Hashes occur every Saturday. I have the Facebook group linked in the description of all of my hashing videos so feel free to check it out if you’re interested. Thanks for watching!
I know which is NOT one of YOUR favourite, sapodilla 🤣. There's a lot I like about the fruits available, but I would say pear(avocado), mangoes and coconut water/jelly are what I miss the most. I get mangoes here, but not the variety, and pears here don't compare in taste. Forget about trying to get coconut jelly, not happening 😥😥
Awww I feel your pain. It is so nice to be able to just step outside and pick a mango or an avocado whenever they’re in season.
