_An inviting inn with a thatched roof in a village at the eastern side of a forest that goes on for miles. It is getting dark._ _Inside, there are various travelers, merchants, and warriors gather at the tables or at the bar to eat their supper and guzzle down their grog._ _A roaring fire is burning in the fireplace. Nearby is a bard, playing music on his lute to a captivated audience. He only stops between every other song to get a swig from his mug of mead._ _One patron, after finishing his meal, repairs upstairs to his room for a good night's sleep._ This is the scene this piece makes me envision.
Once a young lad stumbled upon a town while wondering threw the deep forest Their village was made out of cobble and the town had wonderfully made cobble homes there were markets and festivals. Music flooded the air the sun shinning bright above them and big Green Meadows everywhere followed by the scent of rivers and trees (I totally didn't steal this from a book I have read)
This music seems to belong to another age. An older age, were dragons were fabled and stories of adventure passed from mouth to mouth. An age of community. An age where people value food, ale and good cheer over the now so desired power and wealth.
Dragons likely did exist. Maybe not as gloriously as they're portrayed in myth, but there were a lot of species wiped out by first the Romans and later the people of the Middle Ages. There were once lions in Southern Europe I believe. Some speculate that dragons were holdouts from the dinosaur times that survived into human history. Yes, an incredible (and horrible) time!

They could possibly not be extixt after all! What if there were a few left somewhere out there! It would be an amazing journey to search for them. (Please do not think I am crazy)

This is among the kind of music I love. Musics like this are way better than what mainstream radio has been blaring because this has substance, magic, wonder, majesty, and a sense of adventure and fantasy. This music deserves to be played in cafes and restaurants.
Remember when I was in class and the teacher said no music and I listened to this then when they unplugged my headphones and heard they said that is was fine.
Hearing this makes me even more excited for the game Dragon Age: Inquisition. Travelling across a vast, magical world filled with wondrous creatures, massive landscapes and taking time to rest in a tavern, listening to tunes like this. :)

always happy to stop the daily grind for some outstanding tavern music. It brings a special joy to me especially in later in the day, something akin to nostalgia. Maybe my love of the Vanilla WOW soundtrack and its great tavern songs have something to do with it. No matter. Beautiful job Brandon, you're one of less than a dozen TH-cam channels nowadays I feel sincerely proud to sub to and support, and most every video of yours is nothing short of a complete musical experience. Thank you.
Wow, thank you! I really appreciate your encouraging comment. It means a lot to me. I also love the WOW soundtrack and think they have some of the best music in any game. :D
The music bounced and diddled as the usual patrons sat at their usual places, telling the latest tales, swapping gossip, or just sharing in a mug of the old barkeep's finest dwarven stout. Every so often a group would burst into a spontaneous bout of laughter at the expense of whatever happened to be the topic of their mirth. Sir Barron Hardig leaned against the bar, taking it all in. It was good to be home. Great song Brandon, I love the atmosphere that it provides, like the beginning of many a tale. Have a good evening. :)
Wow, thank you so much for your wonderful description of this piece! I really enjoyed reading it. It seems that you'd be a great storyteller or writer. I hope you have a great evening as well. :-)
Thanks Brandon, I'm glad you liked it, there are probably many others like myself of whom your music inspires. I'm just glad to be able to share my passion and appreciation. :)
*"Fucking finally"* was my reaction when I saw a familiar building with a drawing of a boar etched on a sign above the door. I could already hear the band playing while I was closing in to open the door and get away from this accursed either-fog-or-rain weather that is constant in these parts and seemed to follow me every time I have to travel on whatever business. The moment of opening the door was no more enticing than entering Valhalla itself with the sight of lit fireplaces and chandeliers lighting the place, people in extremely good mood with jugs of beer and mead in their hands and barmaids with busts and booties that would make an old monk rip off his robe in a moment of virility surge and drool like a 16 year old lad and even make elvish maidens get green of jealousy.

I owned well kept clothes and a finely handcrafted bow. I donned my clothes: long leather pants (which tucked into my tall fur boots and allowed space for iron shin guards to go over top), a long shirt and an overcoat so as to keep my shoulder pads and wrist guards from irritating my skin. Over top of all of that laid my quiver which was filled with arrows made from some of the most finely handcrafted materials that could be found in the Cantrion Nations. My bow was made from the finest imported Madagascar Rosewood and had a handle wrapped in alligator leather from far off lands. My overcoat was quite thick and heavy to protect me from the cold winds that often blew across the even colder landscape. On the back of my cape that attached to my shoulder guards there was a pattern, made from a Celtic weave, that resembled an X’ shape. It was my house’s clan symbol, but that did not mean much where I was from. I favored my bow for everything, and I rarely used my dagger, and if I did, I found that I was perhaps not as good as with archery.
