This is easily my favorite chess channel because it feels like you're at the exact same spot as me (okay fine you're higher ELO) instead of these videos with 7k ELO players showing me how to win a king's pawn double twisty knife variation supreme edit: man I just finished the vid. You were the one weilding the king's pawn double twisty knife variation supreme this time
There is no mate after the move f4. It's not a great move but white is completely winning at 9:46 The blunder was Qb6+, Kh1?? Literally any other move by white would've been fine, blocking with the rook would be best.
I swear this dude is built different as soon as he is about to be down material something switches in this mans brain. Best tactic is just to leave him in the game and bring it to the endgame, soon as you get fancy against this 700 ELO demon he straight up ends your life with some Magnus Carlsen type shit.
I saw the rook sacrifice before you mentioned it but i didn't see Qf2+, I would've gone Rxh3+ and that actually blunders a draw😭💀 Your ability to calculate stuff is incredible for a 700 player
GothamChess would be so proud of you, because you sacrificed... THE ROOOOOOKKKK!!! DUUUUUDDEEEE! That was so clutch. As a 740 elo player, I bow my head in reverence to the ingenuity and brilliance you display. Your skill is truly inspiring.
With every video I get scared that you're gonna fake us out with the hype outro music and bomb the whole setup. >inb4 "You can check the time remaining" Yeah but I love the satisfaction of the inevitable Sudden Cole Pop Off to End Slide
This whole video is such a ride. You are a gem. Had me smiling and laughing the whole time. I had no idea you were gonna find a checkmate until the outro music started playing and I thought oh word? Hilarious commentary. Thank you.
Your gameplay is literally stockfish x martin. Sometimes I think you're atleast 1500, sometimes your 700 elo is more than justified. Keep going, love the content
That 1700 played so bad. You have to respect 700s. By the way when he came in and checked you could have just blocked with the bishop wish would defend the pawn and stop him checking you again. And attacked the Queen so it comes with tempo. You could have completed castling by hand then.
So when your opponent sac'd the knight to take your pawn there for no discernible reason, that's actually a really strong famous tactic called the "my opponent is 700 lmao" gambit (but in all seriousness that wasn't actually a move he was just dicking around lol)
I started playing only a year ago, I have made it up to about 1200 and i have to say that you have the ability to become very good, your board awareness and calculation ability is very very good for someone below 1000, I cant wait to continue to watch your journey.
Damn bro, good job beating someone 1000 points higher than you. Keep this up and you might be at that rating eventually. Also, this is a lesson to not play with your food. This reminded me of those scenes in action movies or hero movies where the villain has the hero in some sort of contraption and doomed to die, but then wastes time trash talking about their master plan and accidentally gives the hero a chance to escape and then subdue the villain. lol.
Your position was actually good, I think. Your bishops controlled many squares in the center backed up by pawn, knight and King. Queen also controlled squares. Your rooks were connected and free on back row. You were up a piece. King was on a decent square based on position of pieces. The pawn takes bishop might have been a good move by your op,but you still had a decent position. Trading queens early would have been good for you not your ops because he was down a knight. He didn't play like a 1700 player. He didn't seem to consider you would take his knight on that fork. I don't think that was a sacrifice for better position. It was a little too early for that with pieces not yet developed. Good players make mistakes.
@@OutrightIgnite imagine, when was the last time he has played against an opening that can't be found in a book? he'll lose all his time, and with your tactics, I say this has a huge chance of working out.
I'm proud of you for finding that forced mate! And proud of myself for finding it before you revealed it :) Seriously though how are you only 710? I feel like you're 2000 Elo at galaxy-brain tactics but 200 Elo at positional play.
I was watching you play and i was thinking how is this scrub 700 when I'm 500 and then at the end i was like okay that's how. I wouldn't see that in 1000 games.
My elo is only 453 but in school, I can easily checkmate my 1600 elo and 1800 elo friends . You just need not to blunder and you will find some brilliant moves . Chess is more about having your presence of mind .
3:25 Nxf7 is horrible. Nothing about him being higher elo. This kind of sac would be alien gambit level gambit dubious if he played an e4 opening. He plays some nimzo larsen attack with no open lines in the center to even take advantage of the exposed king. The engine gives this move a -1.9 (from a +2.1) this move is a huge blunder and just terrible all around in this position. Just goes to show you that everyone but professional players is actually bad at chess just to lesser degrees.
@outrightignite that mate you found people over double your ELO 1500-1900 might not find it. You honestly have flashes of brilliance that get lost in a world of blunders and mediocrity... The only thing you need to do is review your games to see the simple moves you could make to improve your position, blundering less. Ignore the 3000 ELO ideas just look for simple improving moves. e.g. when you lost your H pawn to that queen check look at that position and tell me why didn't you slide the bishop back to G6, block the check, attack the queen, get a tempo and complete manual castling instead. Look for moves like that.
Sometimes you win against a 1900 ELO, sometimes you lose against a 700 ELO.
true
Real
yo
Nuh uh 😂😂
Buddy got clipped
Call him calculator, cause he good at calculations enough to subtract 1000 Elo from a guy 💀💀
WTF did I just witnessed. 'Bro thinks he's hikaru' isn't even a joke anymore. Bro really outplayed a 1700.
Keep it up fella.
Hikaru... isn't a 1700, Hikaru would smoke a 1700 while drunk 100x in a row (I'm 1650 and I've never heat a 2k before...)
Bro won against a 1700 and got a brilliant move. What a chad😂🔥

awesome mating sequence, your forced move calculation ability is insane for a newer player

Thank you for noticing, you a real one for that.
I am absolutely terrible at chess. 600 elo player but I think that's false. Your excitement and mindset has got me back into playing haha
chess at low elo is the best because its a real fight instead of little pokes
