One thing I’ve learnt as I’ve gotten older is not to beat yourself up over plans you haven’t fulfilled when you made them in your more productive days 🖤 we all would love to have high productivity days every day but sometimes we need to listen to our bodies 🖤✨

When I had aphids, I put a mixture of liquid dish soap and water into a squirt bottle and mist the plants with it daily. Since you use it on your dishes, it's not toxic for you and it doesn't kill the plants. 💚
Love you Shan and I will always watch your content. I also get insomnia around ovulation and before my period. It’s definitely hormonal! If you don’t already, I would highly suggest closely monitoring your cycle, Including mood, energy and sleep! Monitoring it will help you be kinder to yourself and know what to expect when going into those phases of your cycle 💕
Prepping smoothies once a week and freezing them is a great lazy girl hack, I’ve just started doing it. Kmart have smoothie kits which have a lid and they are perfect for this! Just get them out the night before and defrost for a bit and chuck in the fridge. They should be like a slushy texture

I had to train myself to have breakfast in the mornings, and now i can't live without my breakfast. I think what had happened was i was getting so hungry that it was making me feel sick in the mornings...
Yes! Defs try the lady bugs! Such a fun garden task to do too, there is a whole range of predatory bugs you can purchase and release into your garden. I got lacewings and they work really well! Better then any pest management I've tried. You can create a cool little variety of bugs in your garden which is so fun 😅

I hate eating in the morning too. But i started making my own granola and eating it with high protein greek yogurt, berries, and chia seeds. It gives me like 23g of protein and tons of fiber. It has totally saved my gut issues
YES I hate eating in the morning. I don’t really like breakfast food all that much. I love more savory food, so I usually wait until 10:30 and call it lunch and eat lunch. if I do eat breakfast, it’s gotta be sausage or bacon, and eggs. I do like english muffins with strawberry preserves, so often pop one of those into the toaster if I have them. if I want to be healthy, it’s greek yogurt, blueberries, and granola.
I use to not have breakfast (proper breakfast food) and just had smoothies which I thought was good, I would also have coffee at work. However, I had issues with my stomach, always put it down to my morning coffee or smoothie. Anyway, started having proper breakfast, such as porridge with fruit etc and a piece of toast… it really helped me. But I do realise that everyone’s stomach is very different. Could trial it for a week or so to see how you go with having a solid breakfast.
Not going to lie I was expecting to see a whole techno gym setup (like you see in gyms and the kardashians etc.) it’s refreshing to see you using equipment that is accessible for everyone (or people who are in the market for gym equipment). Really happy for you 😊😊
You should consider going to see your GP and getting some medication to help you get/stay asleep until you’re in a routine. I find getting up at the same time regardless of how much sleep I’ve had helps keep my routine. That was advice from my own GP too. Just an idea ☺️
Breaksfast is the last thing i feel like making myself in the morning with kids but have been loving a bowl of yoghurt with fruit (strawberries in season now yay!) easy to stomach and keeps me fuelled till lunch. Sometimes have some weetbix with yoghurt and fruit if im a bit more hungry 😊
what if you did a kind of morning coffee smoothie?? like blend your coffee with a banana, or some kind of fruit and yogurt or milk?? that way you get your coffee as well as some nutrients!

A tip if you like your coffee and dont like eating in the morning, try a protein coffee, then you won’t get the bad effect from the caffein cause the protein helps stabilize bloodsugar, i do that when im not hungry and i feel full for hours😊
i have alot of insomnia issues and gut issues... for AM before coffee i swig a bit of KEFIR and its a quick gut coat!! then i have my coffee and creamer. then usually oatmeal or cereal toast or something when im more awake ( im not a morning person!!). at night i swear by a half a benadryl ( its like my night allergy pill for all year round hay fever) and a magnesium Glycinate and two ashwaganda!! :)

Oh also wanted to mention- I had the same frustration with my Fitbit!!! Everything was getting behind a paywall. I switched to the Garmin venu 3s about 8 months ago and it's awesome so far - no subscription or hidden features.

Also have you tried beam powder to help you sleep? i saw Jaclyn hill use it & it did wonders for me!
I’ve gotten a lot of sleep help because I have massive bouts of insomnia. Last time I got help I got really good advice that insomnia is normally emotional overstimulation or the brain being unable to go through the process of moving memories from conscious into subconscious because they’re painful to process. Emotional overstimulation doesn’t have to feel like it sounds, it can present as numbness or apathy. And with everything going on with L it could be taking you back to the traumatic time when he had Parvo. Take time to feel your feelings, and try to keep up a bedtime routine but if you’re not sleeping within 20 minutes my advice would be to change activities for a bit then try again because then you’re avoiding the frustration.
I hope you shift out of this slump soon 💜 I’ve been watching you for years and always hold back commenting on personal stuff cos I feel rude for knowing so much about someone I don’t know (if that makes sense). You can bitch or complain as often as you want. Whatever mood you’re in is valid and i think people should appreciate that authenticity but not only that but should make you feel better! unfortunatly vets are unregulated and some are just in the money making buisness i also think a lotof people dont realise how expensive having any tests operations xrays are for pets it is crazy so i want the best for my dog
Im the same way i dont like eating in the morning either. It upsets my stomach if i eat first thing. I have my coffee first thing but i will just wait until 11 am to eat either eggs, a smoothie or a protein bar if im home but If i have to leave the house early and drive i will bring something to hold me over until lunch like almonds or i will bring a smoothie and drink it on the go. I think you should have a tiny bit of something to hold you over until lunch if your on the go but if your home i think its okay just to have the coffee that has the sugar/cream and just wait until your hungry and can stomach food.. i dont follow any kind of health routine, i just listen to my stomach and i just will eat when im hungry! I have my supplements in the morning too after i have my coffee and i take my supplements with milk or orange juice.
I also want to say i also live a blessed life too with a very loving and supportive family, great friends and i have everything i need and more. I struggle with major depression and it doesnt discriminate and doesnt matter how much money, how many friends i have because depressed people like myself really struggle with how i feel about myself and a depressed brain is wired differently then someone who isnt. I watch you when i am feeling down and i feel like i can relate to you on many levels. I feel like i can really relate to how you feel and that helps me get through my sadness for the moment. I dont just watch you just for that, i watch the makecup videos when im happy and i will play a tutorial when im putting on makecup. You taught me a lot of tips and tricks and you help me find the right makeup because i have a similar complexion as you! I just wanted to be real myself
Hi Shan! Your recognition and action is forward! You hold powerful knowledge of how your body works go within this will amaze you! ✨ I have always been an on/ more off eater in the morning. I don’t eat a lot in general tbh! I have always had mild bloating and slow digestion. However what I would suggest is a hot fruit tea or warm lemon water in the morning on an empty stomach to settle the stomach. Try some fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, crackers, bliss balls, yoghurt or smoothies like you suggested. I would also suggest to look at plant milk alternatives. I wait up to 30 minutes after waking before having coffee sometimes more. My morning routine is an early wake, followed by reading or journaling or podcast before leaving the bed so my body awakes that way naturally. I eat my first meal between 11am-1pm. I make sure this is as nutritious as this is my main meal of the day, this changes daily. I snack and have a small dinner before finishing around 7pm. Start small, my eating habits did not change overnight! I started making my own kombucha, I would suggest Celtic Salt if you are not already using. & plenty of water! 💜🥰

I watch you when i am feeling down and i feel like i can relate to you on many levels. I feel like i can really relate to how you feel and that helps me get through my sadness for the moment. I dont just watch you just for that, i watch the makecup videos when im happy and i will play a tutorial when im putting on makecup. You taught me a lot of tips and tricks and you help me find the right makeup because i have a similar complexion as you! I just wanted to be real myself

I have always been an on/ more off eater in the morning.
I don’t eat a lot in general tbh! I have always had mild bloating and slow digestion.
However what I would suggest is a hot fruit tea or warm lemon water in the morning on an empty stomach to settle the stomach.
Try some fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, crackers, bliss balls, yoghurt or smoothies like you suggested.
I would also suggest to look at plant milk alternatives.
I wait up to 30 minutes after waking before having coffee sometimes more.
My morning routine is an early wake, followed by reading or journaling or podcast before leaving the bed so my body awakes that way naturally.
I eat my first meal between 11am-1pm.
I make sure this is as nutritious as this is my main meal of the day, this changes daily.
I snack and have a small dinner before finishing around 7pm.
Start small, my eating habits did not change overnight!
I started making my own kombucha, I would suggest Celtic Salt if you are not already using. & plenty of water! 💜🥰
