It's because J Weese was trying to make a huge issue out of something that just wasn't. She doesn't get along with C Allen from what I gather. Cat marked her disc with relief from where her lie was.
She never crossed over the in bounds line till way further down the sidewalk, she got a favorable mark for her OB shot and Jess wasn’t having any of it. Of course Cox and J. Allen aren’t going to second it b/c nobody wants to make that call against another player
Are you saying Cat won the tournament? This is the round 2 back 9 video. You should not spoil the final outcome until the comments of the round 4 back 9 video, in my opinion.
Talking about Jennifer Allen's drive at 16:50, Paige says, "Looks like she's inside the circle, actually." to which Zoe responds, "Might be just at the edge." but it totally sounds like she says, "Might be just a beotch." which is hilarious.
How can it be a misplay if it is the group that assesses the lie though? I am not arguing that it is a weirdly close lie - it is! But if the group gives her the lie, it cannot be deemed a misplay.
I understand not wanting to make a call against a player, but if a player is wrong it is the group's responsibility to make the hard call. In the end the majority of the group decided that is where Cat should play, so she is playing by the rules.
did cat even watch her shot? she said it landed in bounds and then rolls out. Honestly, if you're in competition play, pay attention to your shot for crying out loud, and dont expect to cheat with cameras watching
Apparently she did not cheat. It was a bad call, but she did not cheat. Just like any other sport -- a decision is made and then you must abide the decision, no matter how bad it is. It's not cheating when you abide the decision.
Went back and watched hole 11 live and Cat's spot is pretty darn close to where it should be. She definitely crossed IB passed the curve in the sidewalk to the light patch of grass. Her disc is sitting pin high. Group decision and Cat is part of the group. It was done right.
I played GBO this year in MPO, Brandon Sjolund, and threw a nearly identical shot to Cat's throw. I can guarantee that in no way did cat's disc come inbounds where she claimed it did. Her mark should have been very similar to Cox's mark.
How can you work when you get that sweet sweet GBO coverage all day
I've watched four hours, four rounds of disc golf today and yesterday! I couldn't be happier!
That little intro jingle just instantly brings a smile to my face.
Zoe is right, Jomez really does offer the best disc golf coverage, and it just gets better every season and throughout the season. Thanks guys!!
Zoe and Paige are getting into their stride as commentators.
Always a pleasure!
Hole 11 is exactly why they need spotters just like the MPO field. Makes it easier on everyone.
I heart j weezy
Strange how nothing was said about what happened on hole 11
Yea, top notch commentary.

@@OneHippiesMusings Think video evidence justified her claim. Weese has every right to be angry with the ridiculous call cat made for herself
@@kt7061 Live coverage showed them all discuss it. R Cox didnt have an issue, J Allen didnt have an issue either.

Jen freakin rips it dude
Just wanted to rewatch the stroke Catrina won by... lol

@@RetroPianoGuy Tournament ended a week ago. Also, you shouldn't read the comments if you don't want spoilers, in my opinion.

Hole 11 was interesting ...lol
😎
I have never been so early here😂
Welcome 🤝
Zoes comment at 6:34 made me bust out laughing. Such a kinky tree.
Just about spit coffee all over my computer when I heard that!
I am struggling to find how hole 11 was not deemed a misplay. Very very surprised by that assessment of lie.

From what I have read the group felt the throw was much further back. That is what is causing the consternation.

@@david2ljdavid2lj56 The group is partially at fault but Cat definitely bullied her way into a better call than she deserved.
@@TheMrCarleton were you at the tournament, if not how do you know that?
Hot card
Half the time they say Becca throws her ballista pro, it's not a ballista pro.

Boo. You should have included the drama of hole 11. No mention at all
It was pretty sweet watching it unfold. Jessica Weese had every right to be pissed.

It isn't even close to where it should be. She should have been over 100 feet away from her mark. You have no idea what you're talking about
