Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

I was running a really “fun” team where I ran Umbreon AND Mandibuzz together. Apologies to my opponents 😂
Man I haven't seen an Umbreon in a matchup in probably a year.
Lucky you, I usually just leave regardless of whether the match up is good or not. Such an annoying pokemon to chip down

Enjoyed the video, been thinking about running Umbreon but been too scared to before watching, so gonna give it a shot before we get the Ultra League swap.
Also wanted to add that I attended PoGo Fest in NYC last year and had a great time. The park is a really nice change of pace, there were a lot of nice accommodations between free water refill stations, charging hubs, info desks, some cool set pieces for photo ops, etc. Also there were tents as hubs for each of the three teams with some giveaways and such. Would highly recommend if you can make it!
Update: I used a modified version of your team today with Umbreon (0/14/15), Pelipper (8/15/15) as my flyer, and Clodsire (13/12/15) as my Fairy-counter and won 18 of 25! I guess I just needed that Umbreon inspiration.

Was thinking just earlier today how I wanted to try Umbreon in this meta. Great minds etc. Was thinking of trying it together with Trevenant. According to pvpoke they do cover each others weaknesses really well. Not sure what to run as third though but am gonna start by trying azumarill in that slot.

Currently using Umbreon--- Toxapex lead, Umbreon and Annihilape.... Its been very sturdy and bulky :)
You forgot Incineroar will have Darkest Lariat, but it's a luster purge dark clone so another nuke
Still have a very poor IV togedemaru, otherwise I’d love to try this team 😂. Maybe I’ll still give it a try
Incineroar sounds like Empoleon. Not quite a glass cannon, not quite anything...

I’m brain dead so I just stole the highest win rate team from pvpoke! Altaria, lantern and skarmory lmao. Been working really well though!
Are these suggested teams ever any good? I tried a few a while back and didn't really do great with them. Also when you actually look them up in the team builder they usually have an F grade in at least one of the rated categories.

@@scumbagecnav5541 to be fair, I used the top one last season - dragonair, lantern and vig and it got me all the way to expert:) I know that’s nothing too impressive but I’ve only been playing 5months and it was only my second ever season of pvp! So they’ve been working good from me atleast☺️
@@darkraitoast5529 that’s true! Didn’t really think of that! Haven’t run into one yet! But they’re always running with shadow Vic and you have two really good answers for that! And the lantern for Basti. So could probably grab the win if you played it well!

if you made a video on what makes a good safe swap and how to use a safe swap that would be so helpful. you say gligar is safe and a good safe swap and i always get crushed using it lol
also after a clefable lead and an azu lead and a poliwrath lead im not running umbreon in the lead anymore lol
