" I have always thought of Our Lady during the Passion and crucifixion of Our Blessed Lord and how she felt experiencing the pain and anguish suffered by her Son. This version of her love, the pain she bore reflects what was in her heart as she too walked beside Jesus in his final hours on this earth. Walk with her and experience, the tremendous love of a mother, the model of all holiness, the mother of our Church and of us all.

I wept at every station I found this the moment I asked Our Lady to teach me to pray it popped up on my Facebook thank you Mother of God ❤❤
I first heard this version via Fr Billy Molloy during a pilgrimage to Medjugorje last month. It's unbelievably beautiful and now plays a vital part in my Friday morning prayers. Each and every time it leaves me dissolved in tears and reaching for the Kleenex! Beautifully delivered - diolch yn fawr!❤❤❤

Saying this Way of the cross always gets me thinking ,no matter how difficult our crosses are ,there is always the RESURRECTION to look forward to. After good Friday,Glory ! Allueia its EASTER.,Rejoice in the Lord,the light of the world.

I thought I just missed the 12th station by drifting away in thought, not paying attention. Now I see it was not there? It almost makes me think there is something 'weird' here. Why would the death of Our Lord on the Cross be 'removed'?

@@louisalevine3711 I don’t think there’s anything weird as such. I think there may be 2 explanations, or should I say my assumption, either it’s a mistake in reading and skipping the 12 by mistake, or they wanted to explain Mary’s parts and she had nothing to do during the soul or spirit of Jesus leaving His body as He died, and too painful to put in words.
Or they have their own explanation, reasonable or not, only God knows their motive, hence He admonished us not to judge.

I listened until the 14th station and the program was terrific-but I’m Catholic, and we don’t believe in a “15” station so the recitation is over.

The 12th station is missing .Jesus dies on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
But we do believe in the resurrection - we just don't depict it in our standard stations
Mary’s Way of The Cross is not the standard catholic Way of The Cross. I think it’s good to give the greater audience here the purpose of the Cross and to give hope. So they know they are praying to a risen Lord and not a dead God. That’s my little contribution, reminds me of when Saint Paul said whatever reason they preach the Gospel, I’m just glad that the gospel is preached (para phrasing)
“But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. This is a beautiful way of doing the stations. But why is the 12th station missing ?? It is the station where Jesus dies on the Cross. Please correct this. Thank you.

Listen carefully to the 11th station--''jesus is nailed to the cross ,they punctured his hands & feet they lifted up the cross,being scorned as HE struggled through the last few moments of his earthly life''.12th station is Jesus dies on the cross.Its there,corporated in the 11th station. Don't find fault just follow Mary closely,it must have been heartrending for a mother,to see her innocent Son so cruelly crucified.God bless.

Dear Mike Conti: It is obvious that many people like this clip, so I would not think of asking you to remove it. However, I would like to ask you to re-create this whole clip, in an alternative form, implementing the following changes: (1) completely remove the "background" music/noise, which is terribly distracting to me and (even worse) makes it impossible to hear many of the spoken words ... (2) explicitly include the 12th Station -- the saving death of Jesus ... (3) for each station, use two readers (not just one), to better show the separation of the first part [spoken by sinless Mary] and the second part [spoken by one of us sinners]. Regarding point #3: As the stations are now read (by one woman), a listener can come away mistakenly thinking that Mary is admitting to have sinned! Thank you.
