This song is as awesome as Kipchamba himself. Such a rare and all-round talent. Am a huge fan of his since the 1990s and am amazed at how he could comfortably sing about virtually any aspect of life; war, economy, marriage, God, patriotism etc. We had a gem in Raphael Kipchamba arap Toputuk.
Kipchamba was not just an artist, i have a feeling that he must have had extra ordinary knowledge and creativity, having the ability to accumulate such concrete knowledge and record is anotger step
Very amazing. Can't tire listening. Educative and informative. Was my wish to meet this legend, though it was not to be the case. Continue resting in peace, the 21 century Mugeni.
This is so insightful brother. I now have the whole story on Mogori. Now my question is whether we have Mogori in present-day. If yes, I would really love to pay a visit.
The big question I have is: are Kipchamba's people(iyotet) reaping from his copyright works or somebody else is reaping the fruits of this greatest hero we have in Kalenjin land.
Not sure, but I think Mogori is present day Migori. I have heard before that Lugetab Mogori also pitted Kipsigis against Kurias, and the Kurias come from Migori.

Not sure, but I think Mogori is present day Migori. I have heard before that Lugetab Mogori also pitted Kipsigis against Kurias, and the Kurias come from Migori.
Keen on this too.
I think it should be Migori and the river being mentioned is River Gucha
What does he mean by "Koyokto kiprogony en limek"..does it mean they got men from Luoland for repopulation?
Yeah, some facts based on the riechisietab mayiek to make people do something - (socio-emotional mingles)
