    Thanks for the video!! I worked on the Pieman Road In 1979 Plant Operator living in the Hydro single men's quarter's the good old days!! 👍😊 God Bless all who worked on the Pieman scheme many have passed away may they rest in peace!! 😊😇🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

    Good to see,I was a Tunnelman in the Diversion Tunnel at the Pieman,we had to go by Bus from Tullah every day for a while until they built the single mans quarters,decent drive in the early hours,all half asleep on the way to work,and half asleep on the way back,interesting life for a few years,worked at the Bastyan Tunnel too,interesting times.

    Yes the good ol days I started out there 1981 as labour building the new Camp then truck driver in the Volvo N12 27 tippers.
    Absolutely loved every minute.

    Incredibly fantastic video, absolutely excellent the way it was put together, was brilliant to hear&see the magnificent Detroit powered Wabco in the background as well, would be wonderful for some one to write a book on these important projects, especially covering the earth moving equipment!!👍

    A project of this magnitude would no longer be possible it would be so much more expensive .....back in those days men were made of steel

    love riding my yzf r1 on the reece dam rd... Its the best rd in Australia for bikes - just watch out for the tassie tigers.....
