I'm a Slytherin, and as much as I'm passionate and bubbly and try to never be anything but kind, I'm honestly so in love with darker edits like this. Because let's be honest, even the nicest of us Slytherins have our edgy times.
True for me for sure I exist on the dark side so oof I'm sorry if I sound like a huge mood here but I just have these moments where I just trace back the origins of bloodshed. How power, tyranny, dictatorship and just fear through control in general came about
slytherin is absolutely the best house in my opinion, shame the better characteristics of slytherin weren’t really explored in the books or films. gorgeous video, I loved it.
As a hufflepuff I'll have to stop you there, its a worse shame that hufflepuff wasn't explored, heck its a worse shame that none of the houses ever overcame the cliche niche they were put into by Rowling.
I think that the best characteristic of Slytherin was explored in the books/ films, just not in a good way. The idea of Slytherins being ambitious and determined can go both ways, as ambition can help in achieving good and bad things. It’s sort of like how Gryffindor’s loyalty/ bravery can be used for good and bad, although we only see the good side of this. I expect this is because J.K.R originally wrote the book as a younger children’s book, and therefore needed a clear hero and a clear villain. They have started to explore switching the roles in some of the recent films, however.
I’m a slytherin, honestly, I think the founder of slytherin wanted to keep the non pure bloods out because Hogwarts was founded in the medieval times which means muggles were burning witches.
I just can't even comprehend that someone can make art like this?!?! oh god the dedication to find all these beautiful scenes and to craft this whole concept is just brilliant. Ahhh well as you know I always adore your style and here is no exception aklsdjalkda truly insane. Embracing even the coldest and darkest parts of yourself is necessary for finding who you really are as an individual, apart from society. Your own identity will always remain hidden from the outside world, because if it wasn’t like that, you most definitely won’t be where you are right now.
This is stunning. I wish there were more lighthearted Slytherin edits, with fireplace conversations and moonlight getaways and adventure. Not just....edge and snakes and death and classism.

Saskia H. What I meant is that in this video the best traits of the house (that is resourcefulness, the will to follow one's dreams etc) weren't really explored in favour of its darker aspects. I don't think that blood purity is something good.
