They did an amazing job on the fence. White splint rail fencing I think is the epitome of a lovely country home. Also besides stores being more crowded & people spending people are also saying “Merry Christmas” & honestly I haven’t heard that for a very long time in public & I love it 🥰! Sweet! I did the container gardens this summer…each grand got their own to plant veggies or flowers. It’s so much easier but it does look nicer if it’s planted in the ground. You’re really getting chickens? Everything is nice, and there’s nothing better than a new build….even if it got me less house, I’d still get new. Good 🍀 luck

Danny and I were just at the mall yesterday after church! He was shopping for his girl ❤Dude!!! It was insane!!! Stood in line for 25 minutes at World Market…. Only 2 cashiers! Sigh PopShelf was fine… I was surprised!! Love the Country House’s fence!!! ❤
Pick the garden spot that gets at least 6-8 hours of sun. As for chickens you do want them to have some shade in Summer. Your home now is so much larger. Do you think you will miss the extra space and storage room?

Ok, I hope I don’t upset you Anna because I would not want to do that. I just wanted to mention y’all might want to leave some heat on in your country home so your pipes might not burst. We always make sure our out spigots are covered with spigot covers or dripping. In the inside we open the cabinets and leave the water dripping. Only if it is below freezing and mainly for when it is freezing or below for several days. I know you leaved in California and other warmer areas and didn’t know if y’all had leaved in places where it got below freezing. I love the new fence and I’m glad Ernie plans to build a platform in the garage. I am one who if anyone can fall I can. Looking forward to seeing y’all move to your country home. 🎄❤😊🎄

Until you move there permanently, are you just going to do basic landscaping and then finish when you actually live there? I was only wondering because you have all that beautiful landscaping at your city home. Of course that’s pretty established and maybe low maintenance? When we lived in Birmingham, AL our first home was built somewhere in the early 1900’s and it got down to around 14 to 19 degrees at night for like 3 days and didn’t get above freezing during the day. A couple next to us lived in an old 2 story home. They didn’t prepare at all and they had pipes bursting in the house and under the house. They had 2 small children and it was a mess and cost a lot to fix. 🤦♀😢
