Absolutely brilliant! Smashed this build, cordless. I especially like that weapons workbench you have on the plywood in the cave. And the cave! Aw man so good.
Fantastic mod on PS4, hoping eventually you add more boulders, wall variations, maybe even trees, grass, etc. Either way, awesome mod and awesome use of the mod.
I actually have a number of things I plan to add in future updates. May be a month or so before I have enough ready to publish version 2, but I'm working on it.
Never thought of the under ground building always centered under taking over the commonwealth. With that we have vault 81 so there's the underground base were a proper place to raise an army can be manufactured. Sounds ambitious yes but my play through would lay the grounds for a future for another run at the commonwealth.
Tbh I like it when you make your own lore for your builds, it's really interesting and that skeleton by the shelter was a nice touch, really made it feel like a "Bethesda" build. :)

Looks good I recently built an underground facility there also recently before I saw this video tour . This is the perfect spot to build underground !!
This would be awesome for building in sanctuary where you can get under the map by glitching a chair into the river wall. On the other side of the wall you have an earth texture above you but it disappears at some angles. Being able to put proper rock/earth walls, floor an ceiling down there will be really cool.

using the grounded mod and the snappy house kit mod you could build yourself a small underground railroad/spy or military base using the house kit to build a shop and other buildings then using the grounded mod with other mods build your own secret area similar to your underwater institute base but on a bigger scale ready for a faction to launch an offensive to free/take the commonwealth similar to the railroads switchboard base
If you were to produce a pack of 5-6 locations (marked or not)for the creation club I would totally buy it, even with your great lore.:) Love this. You are just getting better and better with these random locations.

Ever thought about doing a settlement build in Fallon’s Department Store? Seems like the perfect spot to do a build if you could get rid of all the super mutant crap in there!
I'll admit the perfectly flat ground is what threw me off the ruse. Even in places that would make sense, Bethesda doesn't like to make flat ground and mod authors only really do that in cell spaces. Still, I wasn't completely convinced until you mentioned that you couldn't keep up the lie, so it was still a ride. Nice work! Also, as for the lore, you could just say he would live down in the bunker when the weather got too bad in the cabin. Say, a bad storm or something.
Myself personally, I would put a Ghoul Settler down there as the Only Resident, no need for serious Lore, because it pretty much explains why it looks lived in.

It’s lived in because he was parinoed and lived down there, but just made it back from shopping and died in front of the door, the cabian was a front, and I have no explanation for the nuka cola quantum
Man, that's awesome! Fallout 76 is coming out later this year and they' confirmed that settlements and attacks on settlements will be included. So, I'm spending my time now looking for cool ways to build and defend my future FO76 settlement. It'd be great if they include ground/landscape elements like this so we could build "underground"!
Need a mod to allow pre-war items look warn from time, so we could make it so that when someone does this kind of build, it would look like time took to the items.

I've been wanting to build a vault at Sunshine Tidings in my current Minuteman/Railroad playthrough to be my Mercer safe house and actually hide the teleporter underground (I always feel like it has to be kept well hidden because what's to stop the Institute from sending out their synths to keep you from using it?). Looks like I'll finally get to play around with that idea
I made up some lore, Few years into the apocalypse, the guy goes out for supplies, underestimate the amount of radiation, Dies and rots away whilst slowly crawling to his cabin
How about he survived and lived in there and then he thought he would be safe so he went out and go attacked by a monster or raiders.
