Payday 2 has to be the best co-op shooter of all time. Sure it's got its glitches, the animations are sucky, and some of the heists re-use other maps, but it makes up for it in gameplay, and just being overall awesome.

Personally the beta version feels like the build up to razor mind to while waves get progressively harder until your frantically trying complete the objective
1:48 - 2:18 is why I love this song, it’s not too over the top like the new version, it’s got a subtle beat to it that feels dark and aggressive. Shit gets you pumped. Hearing those rhythmic wubs and the drums, combined with the panting of your heister while sprinting from cover to cover and exchanging shots with officers is why I love payday. This track really pulled off the grimy dark underworld thing Payday wanted to pull off. That part alone I wish was extended for an hour somewhere on TH-cam.
3 years late, but I'd argue that this song is too slow and too depressing, payday 2 isn't meant to be depressing, it's meant to get you pumped up to fight. You're not sitting in a corner most of the time. You're usually moving around, heck razormind actual motivates you to move around. I mean, why do you think razormind got meme'd so much and not this one.

Sadly I think they shoulda kept this version of razormind instead of the official one because tick tock and razormind literally sound like two alternate versions of the same razormind... Keeping this would change how similar razormind and tick tock sound...

Randomized is better for Payday 2. It adds to the feel of not knowing what to expect and keeps you on your toes, something the music has a great habit of doing. Regardless of whats playing during a heist, you're always going to be in the mood to kick ass and chase that payday. ;)
So this is why this is so different in the soundtrack, remove the ingame ambience and gunfire, there's really not much behind this track. Sounds amazing ingame though.
