i'm so glad y'all are actually watching my vid, i genuinely put a lot of effort into it so i truly do appreciate everyone watching and even liking and subscribing. if there's any topic y'all would like to see a video on, let me know !! (literally any topic honestly)
Cool first video. I'll sub. Btw, is that 17 billion mile to the edge of our solar system correct? Isn't the oort cloud way larger and is considered still part of our galaxy?
I do see the perspective of it being really "empty" because of how giant it is like literally too big for our brains to comprehend. I just always am amazed by how much there is out there tho
Also 4:35 this actually is not the Boötes Void, this picture is of Barnard 86 which is essentially a giant dark gas cloud. The two get switched up often and its just generally acommon mistake to use the barnard 68 picture while referencing the Bootes void. It would be hard to show the actual emptiness of the void in a picture because of how far it is from us and there is many galaxies in between of us and it so it doesnt appear that dark as the Barnes 68 picture does because it is closer and no galaxies between it to "light pollute" if you will. Here is a link with a little more information about Barnard 68 apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap171008.html Hope this made some sense
