- This is ARKANSAS The Most Underrated State in America. Our lifestyle takes us deep into the Ouachita Mountains in Western Arkansas. We set up camp at our favorite spot, and hike to the Winding Stairs off of the Eagle Rock Loop trail. www.hikingproj...
Later that day, we have a surprise guest stay one night with us! The next day Cody goes fly fishing for rainbow trout with our surprise guest before they leave. After Cody fishes, his dad and stepmother stops by for the afternoon for some rest and relaxation. We finish out the evening with two of our friends coming to camp with us, and Kellie cooking up an amazing meal!

The title says it all. One of my absolute favorite places on Earth as well! Arkansas is truly one of the most beautiful places in the United States. Love the fact that it's tucked away here. Another great video!
This was an incredibly fun video to watch! Awesome food, great fishing and great friends plus Jonathan as well. Cody, that area should be a national park as it is beyond beautiful. Kelly, you are absolutely amazing...love watching you prepare and cook.

It's interesting how the marketing of our natural wonders so overlooks certain regions. Your spotlight on this area, and the Ozarks, is opening the eyes of people who are not already in love with the region. My family settled there after the civil war and I return nostalgic whenever I can.
I have never really known about this region at all (from the other side of the country)
But I’ve fallen in love with it.
Can’t wait to visit and see this gem of a state

Great video !! i have been going to to winding stairs and Albert Pike for 50 years and My Mother lived in the area as a child, Its the most beautiful place and the coldest water in Arkansas. Even learned to swim at Winding Stairs.
Johnathon is such a mighty being. Just wait till he realizes it and comes in to his power. As long as me keeps that simple, pure heart energy that he has, he is going to kick some butt in the world !!!
my youth pastor took us camping here when i was 14 we hiked in what felt like forever to get to this spot. i remember swimming jumping off those bluffs into the deep hole. theres also a spot you can drink clean drinking water out of a natural filter. its in that area. i remember being in aw of the bluffs too
That is a lovely spot where you set up camp. Not surprised it's your favourite place to stay. Been watching your vlogs for a few years now and this one I think is my favourite. You make me want to visit the US & Arkansas especially...

That old gym in Langley was converted to a skating rink. The school building was still standing when I was a teenager. It was one many local hangouts that we no longer have. My good friend owns that property now. I like watching yall enjoying life in my old stomping grounds. 😃

I absolutely can't do the insane hikes you guys do. i can still do the kayak camp and cooks and island camps. Would love to see more of that. I consider myself a good cook in the wild but AP is next level. You are a very lucky man. I am a new subscriber and have been binge watching your vids in no particular chronological order. I got heart and blood pressure issues and your vids have helped me! Except for the one where Jonathan was climbing over the cliff just after visiting the cookie cabin. I about shyt myself. 😂.

Nice visit with family and friends at the campsite! The meals were outstanding - the fresh caught fish, beer bourguignon over mashed potatoes, the chicken - wow! We used to swim at Albert Pike when we were kids. I haven't been there since the flood. I didn't know it was open for camping any more.
I had planned on a night camping on lake Ouachita, but I think I'd rather spend my whole trip exploring this area instead. Absolutely stunning.

It's good that the gov. didn't step in and make that area a national park. They just would have pooped all over it like they did to all the other parks with their rules and restrictions and fees. No campfires, pay for everything, close all the natural driving accesses to the water , etc. , etc. . that is a beautiful area . Keep it free and natural to people !!!

Kellie, your dishes look as delicious as ever. ……….ok, had anyone complained about not being able to watch your video when a You Tube takes you to a commercial. When your videos go to commercial they don’t come back to continue. I don’t know if you’ve changed something, or if You Tube is doing something or if it’s our AT&T streaming that is causing the problem but the only way I can continue to watch is to get out of You Tube completely and then sign back in to your video…….this happens on every commercial break on your channel…………really strange since your channel is the only one I have this problem. Just wondering.
We have not experienced that. We only get to select where the commercial plays in the video.

You want to see something beautiful, come to Michigan Upper Peninsula, Picture Rock National Lake Shore. You will be amazed.

I'm 73 years old and grew up camping every summer at Albert Pike. As a family, we hiked to Winding Stairs and many other places in the Ouachita.
While in college, I hiked to the Winding Stairs many times and even camped under the overhanging rock. So many memories. Thank you for this video. I especially loved the history and the drone shots. I no longer hike due to health issues so enjoy living vicariously through younger folks videos.
