Perfect use for it. Get the XXL pad to put on it, if you haven't already. It saves strain on the cot fabric by distributing your weight, and it's super comfortable. I have the Vista 1 tent with extended fly and it's a great sleep system
i saw that they just jacked up the price to $189.99. Until a few weeks ago, it was $159.99 but there was a coupon code that would get you 15% off, which would bring it down to 135.99. anyone who wants to buy it should check to see if there are any good coupon codes for it. Cabela's sells an XXL cot for $129.99, so hard to justify an extra $60. Slumberjack sells a cot that's the same size as well and Amazon had that as low as $109.99 for a while. I don't think Teton Sports actually designed the XXL cot. I have a Cabela's Outfitter XXL cot from 2016 that I bought gently used and it is 100% identical to the current design of the Teton Sports XXL cot. And I think the current Cabela's and Slumberjack cots might share a design, but hard to tell just looking at online pictures of them.
I own a Teton and Cabela's xxl cot, the only difference is ones aluminum and ones steel and different pivot bars. Also Cabela's has swing arm bars underneath to help with the cot moving. Both are awesome cots. Thanks for the comment and thanks again for watching
Great review I just got mine today finally these things sell out fast plus a discount code which saved me some money and did the payment option as well free shipping and you just can't beat Tetons lifetime warranty, I have the sleeping pad for this cot along with a storage accessory now I'm waiting for the shoe pads to be restocked they were sold-out. We have backpacks, sleeping pads, pillows, and sleeping bags for the kids and two of their tents. Teton Sports gear ya just can't beat what they offer anywhere in my opinion. Kodiak also has top quality gear use the Kodiak Canvas Sleeping bag on my cold campouts. Happy Trails Folks.

@BTROutdoors I have seen more stuff about the teton xxl cot than I have the slumber jack cot. I do like the slumberjack cot. Cause it come with some kind of bag to put stuff in and it looks like a self inflating air pad. The twton it will cost extra.
On the teton website it is not 86x45 it says its 80" long x 35.5". but on amazon you can find it as the dimensions you listed same as cabelas so who is right?
