It is a smashing one of a kind guide for revealing the secret to master interviews and get the job minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my BF at last got astronomical success with it.

      People today have thin skin. It's not an insult, it's the result of social media, which is a manipulative. You only see "success" around you, and automatically think that if you fail at something, you are a bad person. This is extraordinary false.

      If I saw this video, I would not hire you. I never hire anyone who wears glasses. Also, women must be a 10 or no work. That's the level.

      I needed your video. I have had few interviews with a company - spoke about joining date - salary and was waiting for my offer letter (even said I was the best)... (drum roll) I got an email saying I did not get the job. My anger went from 0 to 1000000 level - because I have rejected other interviews while waiting for the offer letter - and the company won't share why I am being rejected. I think they took only my project ideas and decided to drop me.

    I had a great interview last week, and really connected with everyone at the interview. I really wanted this job. Ultimately, they decided to go with someone else. It sucks, I asked for feedback, and all they said was that they really liked me and my qualifications. I think that they had someone in mind already who they wanted to hire, but they needed to conduct interviews anyway. I guess it was good experience, but I'm still disappointed. My job hunt continues.

      I will tell most of the people get jobs because of their friends or family members, not because they qualify for jobs, That's very UNFAIR because we worked hard for this position and just because you know someone in the company you get that job even if that person has NO Experience, qualifications or work hard as you did! It happened to me too, just keep trying, don't lose faith! That hard work will pay off one day!

I have had a lot of interviews where I make it to the final round, but they choose someone that has more experience. In my eyes, in those interviews they all went very well, I felt confident in answering all of their hard hitting questions and it becomes more of a conversation. How do I know where I can improve if I’ve practiced time and time again and each interview goes well but I’m passed up because of my lack of experience?
    I already have a year of experience and I’m applying to entry-level roles but for sought after company’s. Any advice would help, thank you.

    I have tried everything and I still have more to work on. I just graduated three months ago and have a masters degree and i cant get a job in my field. I am working on more example questions, preparing to not be nervous, I answer clear and try to give in depth to my answers. I have gotten feedback and I have took their feedback on. I've picked myself up rejection after rejection and I'm here watching more TH-cam videos crying and laughing at myself. Just gotta pick myself up but the idea of going travelling for one year is honestly becoming more desirable by the day 😂

    Hi Natalie, how are you doing? I myself have been in a few interview positions for good jobs, as my skills and abilites are equal to or somewhat surpass the job requirements. Anyhow, yes I'm aware that not all interviews go well, as i see your reason for saying that why it's not good to fall into self pity when we strike out. You say that we have to learn from the failures at interviews, but that's the thing, they don't tell you anything. All they say is what they ask you, you give them the proper answers that are related to what they are asking. In the end they would say thank you for coming and we will stay in touch with you or send you an email. But they either ghost you afterwards or when they reject you, there's no explanation for why they decided to.

    • @freezingcocacola7201
      @freezingcocacola7201 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I agree. It;s even worse in Europe they just hardly ever say anything specific. Only pre-determined templates like "the team liked you but we went for a candidate who was a a better fit". I also found out by "insider" person from one company that they actually lie in rejection emails/calls and they sugarcoat everything, you won't hear the real reason for sure. In my opinion this should change, we need to change the laws so the companies can feel safer to provide contsructive feedback.

    One thing I would wish to express here is, no problem if you reject the candidate, but give them a constructive feedback that they could work upon.
    Just sending text stating you didn't get through doesn't make any sense. The candidate has taken so much of this time to answer your questions, do an assignment and much more.
    It is really rude being blunt to them...

    This is the most valuable video on this topic I have seen! “Your tolerance to failure is what’s going to get you the result”! This is exactly what I needed to hear! I have been on 10+ job interviews with multiple companies and cannot get past the second interview. It’s very discouraging and it feels impossible to land a job. I feel as though either I am Never going to land a job or I have to take a very low paying job to even get my foot in the door. These companies are looking for specific skills and each one is significantly different. If I do fit the description they give it to an internal employee. How does one find that one in a lifetime opportunity where you can check all the boxes and get hired. It’s super frustrating. Thank you so much for this video!

    I’ve done 3 interviews in the past month, one disappeared even though I had 2 interviews with them and both went very good, 1 was amazing and they told me I was super impressive with my track record and told me I would not be happy there and rejected me, the last one yesterday told me that they were pleased to meet me, that my work is excellent and I presented it very well, that they would love to work together but they choose to move on with another candidate. I’m seriously analysing everything as I think there must be something I do wrong, but not sure what

  • @timjarvis9078

    The real reason fake job interviews are set up is because the role has been already promised to an internal staff member. Group interviews are a red flag avoid at all costs trust me if you go for an interview and 5-10 people are also sitting waiting around to be interviewed for the same job walk out do not waste your time trust me it’s happened to me twice for government jobs when I used to live in New Zealand. Especially group interviews as what they’re doing is eliminating large numbers of applicants in one swift and most of the time 3-5 people in the group work at the company already and are just pretending to apply for the role to give you the real applicant a sense it’s legit.

Good thing is you provided solutions. Most talk at people, but you spoke TO people. You are teaching us•-> 1. BE OBJECTIVE! 2. BE POSITIVE 3. BE HONEST (to update for next time with valuable data) 4. BE ADAPTABLE (mixing to the next with a learning op vs. rejection). Great video 💐🥂

I got rejected by the 1st one (the online) and have been told that they are happy for me to reapply. However, I accepted by the 2nd one (face to face) ☺. I really want to thank you, I got a rejection 2 days ago, and I felt too bad, it was my dream company. I applied for an apprentice role, I did really well in the first interview, and just the next day, they invited me to a second interview, as far as I understand I did really well in the second interview. in the second interview, they mentioned it was not a technical interview and they just wanted to make sure I was the best fit, however, they got engineering drawings with them to ask me about my understanding of it and if I did have any questions, I answered one question wrong, the rest of the interview was really good. but 2 days later i got this disappointing call letting me they proceed with another candidate. and the only question I kept asking my self was:" why wasn't I their best fit?" :( Your video really helped a lot. Thanks again!

    9:15 One problem, though, is that sometimes you can just get used to failure at interviews and make it the status quo. This means that after another interview failure - you brush it off, as if it means nothing - thinking: 'It is just another failed interview.' So you don't really get emotional because that is what you expected.
    There is a song called All We Are - by Matt Nathanson - with the lyrics: "It's hard to change the way you lose, if you think you've never won." which I relate to, in this specific manner.

    I really needed this advice today. After 5 weeks that included a giant application and 4 interviews I just heard back that I won't be moving on to the final round which is a writing assignment. I feel like I've come so far and spent probably 20-30 hours of interview prep that to not be able to be given the assignment feels like a kick in the you know what. That said i am going to ask to be allowed to take it when i send them the customary email you send after a rejection. The worst thing they can say is no.

    I hope you can answer this because I’m unsure what the issue is for me... I’ve had two recent companies that I went through multiple interviews with, final interview I was told that no one else was a better fit, they loved me, they looked forward to having me on their team, even asked how soon I could start and said they’d indicate to HR to send paperwork over. Both times, NO OFFER. The first job ghosted me. The second job sent me a rejection letter less than 24 hours after. That second job, I was even told by the head of the department how direly they need a bilingual person and that I’m the only candidate who is bilingual in the two languages they need. So... What gives? I am feeling incredibly defeated right now and like there’s no point anymore. :(

    • @RememberTheLord
      @RememberTheLord 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      PS: in all my past years, if I made it to the interview stage, I always knew right away if I would be offered a job. There was a couple of jobs that threw curveball questions at me that were not in the job description or things a recruiter misled me on, those I totally failed on and me & the person interviewing me acknowledged it. However I’ve never in my life been told I’m the best candidate and that a company loves me *unless* they’re offering me a position. That just doesn’t happen. I don’t know what’s in the air ever since Covid but companies aren’t being very clear and things are awful.

    At what point should you just accept your current status in economy? I have a job currently, but it's a nowhere job at nowhere pay. Been rejected so many times, I'm now declining interviews because I'm sacrificing too much PTO to attend. Former co-workers got offers after their first try, but not me. So frustrating! At what point are you doing more harm than good by interviewing, and getting rejected, so much?
