    Southern farmer here, tint is a must. 5% all around and 20% on the whole windshield. Game changer.

    One of the first things I did with my tractor was tint the windows. Protect from UV and cut heat.

    It's interesting that on the 3rd function, the mount for those hoses is on the opposite side as the bucket hoses. On my Grand L they are all on the same side. Is it a matter of spacing on the LX. By the way, we have had our Grand L for just over 2 years and love it. ❤

    I guess I’m lazy, but I just remove the bucket from loader when shredding. I have a MX and no quick hydro release. Only place I need clearance is in fence corners and I just raise the loader but I’m shredding pasture with few trees.

    I heard Kubota does not recommend rear wheel spacers if you're going to do a BH77 on the back. Is this true? If so, why and what is your opinion?

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My guess would be the added weight of the backhoe would be an additional strain on the rear axle housings having those wheels sitting further away from the tractor's frame and away from the ends of the axle housings....that's a lot of weight hanging behind the tractor bouncing around as you are transporting the tractor around your property or even on the road.

      @wildbill23c this was my thought aswell, just wanted to hear any experiences from a dealer.

    • @bradw3313
      @bradw3313 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not thinking a cab tractor would accommodate a backhoe…maybe so, but I can’t picture it. He mentioned it’s good for cabs with added too weight, but the backhoe wouldn’t need em with the added “low” weight I wouldn’t think.

    Well I bet none of those tractors are going to Mike Morgan LOL.
    So many different initial configurations, kind of the case regardless of model though....Its nice to have the versatility and be able to add stuff down the road, however....it'll cost ya $$$$ to do it in many cases, like the 3rd function kit, buy it when you buy the tractor, its cheaper than having it added down the road.
    I have the Kubota BX2680 with the loader, and 60" mid mount mower. Taking the loader off and putting it back on isn't too bad, neither is installing and removing the mower deck...for me its the moving stuff around just to put the mower deck on and take it off that is the chore. Honestly it takes 5 minutes at the most to install the mower deck if it wants to be a pain and fight with you on getting the rear pins lines up LOL.....I like the single point hydraulic coupler system, makes it nice and easy to install and remove the loader, and its tucked up close to the tractor so you aren't as likely to damage it when the loader is removed. Its going on 3 years of owning my BX2680, and it does everything I need it to do, and always seems to surprise people what it can actually do for as small as it is. Biggest thing is getting enough ballast on the back to make use of the loader's lift capacity which isn't much, but beats using a shovel. I've had a couple of things delivered to the house that were on pallets and in the back of a semi-truck that I was able to easily unload with the tractor, saves on shipping charges if you don't need the lift gate service, and the delivery drivers are sure happy when they pull in and see you got equipment to unload whatever it is you ordered, saves them time trying to move stuff around by hand with a pallet jack.

      @janking2762 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can get an inexpensive three point hitch lift( a frame with two horizontal bars that function like pallet bars ) that has a much higher lift capacity than anything attached to the front loader. My BX 23 front loader will lift about 650# but the rear will lift 1/4 cord of seasoned hardwood with no hesitation ( 900+ lbs). Just practice backing up a bit.

    I see wheel spacers are really popular on small tractors. Why don’t the manufacturers just make them with adjustable rims like older machines had and come with many machines with R1 ag tires? It’s a pain to change, but with adjustable rims you can change the tractor stance for stability or tight space maneuverability if you need to.

    Are the two loader cylinders the same size?
    When I was at my deals and they had them sided by side I didn’t see a difference.
