It is distinctive isn't it - that was the first thing I noticed; how much it sounded like my local Arrow built Coaster. Love the sudden silence when it releases at the apex of the drop
This and Gemini. My 2 favorite coasters. I just feels like I have the most fun on them, and I feel like I am going to die on Magnum, even though I know I am safe. Both deserved to be cared for, and they seem to be!
wow Brennan your channel is up to 65k! that's some nice growth over the last few months. thanks to you I now know what the trim brakes sound like. lol.
I couldn't believe how much this looks like The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. 205ft drop and similar track configuration. Yep, built by Arrow Dynamics too so not really a surprise there but new information to me today
I have a video idea. Make a “What Really Happened” on Xcelerator at Knott’s Berry Farm. As far as I can tell, there are no videos that go in depth, only footage. If you don’t know already, during one of the launches, the launch cable snapped, which injured the first two riders and sliced the front car of the train in half. It also damaged the brake fins and the descent from the rollback also damaged the underside of the train. It would be cool to see this video!
have you done a darien lake six flags vlog? that’s my home park and i’m interested in seeing what other people think of it because it is definitely not the most popular location. x
The maverick is my favorite ride, but I didn't get to go recently because of covid, they still take the season passes from last year because of covid thankfully
@@deejasart7766 some people absolutely hate it for not being a ultra smooth ride. I like it since it gives the ride character and I’ve learned to ride rougher rides. It’s not my favorite coaster, but I ride it when the line is short when my family is willing to pain their legs of airtime.
Surprisingly mine stayed on during a recent trip to SFNE riding Superman and Wicked Cyclone, so as long as they're secured correctly they actually stay on quite well!
Lift stop at: 8:14
Trimless Cycles at: 3:25 , 17:15 , 23:45
Man I just love the sound of that lifthill. Especially from Cedar Point's official POV.
My favorite coaster sound by far. If I wanna get excited, I walk through the rear entrance.
makes me want summer to get here
You can't beat it! Love it so much
I swear to god there is just something about the sound of Arrow lift hills that hits *different.*
Yessss!
Magnum has the most beautiful lift hill sound ever heard on a coaster.
Music to my ears. Love when we enter the park through the magnum entrance and you hear that bad boy all throughout the parking lot
My first hyper-coaster and still a classic. From tallest in the world to 6th tallest at it's own park. Cedar Point truly spoils us.
Oh that beautiful arrow lift hill sound

I got 2 trimless rides. One in the front and back and it is one of the craziest coaster experiences ever! Believe me

I had already asked for this, but he rejected that idea
Awesome shots!

Looking forward to getting back on this fun ride this year!
Love this ride
Me and a buddy of mine nicknamed this coaster as the “Thigh Killer.”
could you do a video on why some roller coasters are rough/bumpy? thanks!
Older coasters=built by hand newer coasters=built by machines some coaster=don’t age well and get rough
@@planetcoastercreator8583 yo i didn’t mean the super basic stuff i mean the really like scientific or like a diagram of how it is roufh
@@tesla1557 oh
@@planetcoastercreator8583 thanks tho
What’s the purpose of the tone when the lift restarts?
To ensure that all personal are clear of the ride area and are aware of the ride restarting.
My god that lift hill is loud
A trimless ride will literally try to break your femurs it's crazy.
What's going on with Magnum? Noticed a cherry picker on the second drop yesterday. Please tell me they are not adding more trims!!!
I went on there a few days ago I don’t remember another trim I don’t think they did
criticize Magnum XL 200 if you want... But remember it started the hypercoaster game. Although it's showing its age... it's still a contender.
Did you change your name from GP to Enthusiast to Coaster College?
Yea, this video should explain things: th-cam.com/video/h4CJwA9Cmdo/w-d-xo.html
Wow very cool footage!
Ah I gotta get on this some day
The maverick is my favorite ride, but I didn't get to go recently because of covid, they still take the season passes from last year because of covid thankfully
Magic seat row 3
oooh I love this.
I love how you love this coaster so much and it looks... rough
But hey ho, maybe it ain’t
The track itself is pretty smooth imo, but the transitions can jolt you around a bit. Still fun though.
@@Stagnant_Gravy as long as it’s fun I guess

It’s more bumpy than rough.
I wouldn’t say it’s rough, I would say it’s more bumpy than anything. That’s just what happens when you don’t use computers to fabricate your track.
It’s a rollercoaster?
Yes
no

Hey, I just want to know if you have any potential channel name replacements for me. Now, I want it to be an alias, or something I would call myself.
I wonder how many masks come flying off on the roller coasters.
