Thanks so much for posting these, especially with the English translations! This is a great resource for bassists, and hopefully more people will find out about Bozo through this documentary. He's a superb musician.
I am 81 years old and began learning bass in 1952. I agree with everything Božo Paradžik has said. Young bass players are better taught and develop much more quickly than when I was young. It is very exciting and hopeful to see & hear so many excellent young bassists today. TH-cam and the internet has made it possible for quickly sharing information and (like Božo Paradžik has said) progress is much faster today.
Sveiki , gal galėtumet numesti nuorada interneto puslapį ar atsiusti natas į skype : bernisss13 , gmail : bernisss13@gmail.com, aš groju kontrabosu taigi norėčiau gauti nemokamu natu. :) Ačiū.
Come off it, pal-! your message had the ' I know better attitude'.The bit you don't quite understand,-Those in auditions get "nerves", they very much want the 'Job'& high marks,& that creates inward stress, which can impair performance. One must be fit for virtuoso Bass,& yet there is mental stress/strain to deal with. I've played Worldwide in Cabaret & Concert,Tv,Films,&records with World Class Stars, and when the dots turn up,only 5mins before curtain-up, stress takes some handling,I know it !!
Duncan Mctier, the englishman seems to know German better than English. One gets the impression from this video that everybody, regardless of his/her nationality knows German.
What is the name of the first composition if I may ask? Bottesini I guess, as it says in the description… but what composition? It sounds really beautiful and I think I have heard it already before but can't remember the name. Simply beautiful. And Mr. Paradzik is really a great player!
