After surfing this YT ocean since ages I finally found someone like minded person, who is into personal growth, uses mind maps & Trello. Really excited about how this will turn out ! Also would love to see Trello setup not just GTD cuz just like mind map, Trello is also very versatile.
Great content, But I couldn't engage completely cuz of FOMO, Information Overload, Shiny Object Syndrome, Analysis Paralysis being my main problem since ages
I love what you’re doing it helped me a lot it really helped me see how to get things going on and how to do things I am really happy I came across this video I love it❤
I couldn't go along with your video. I understand your intention (I use a lot mind mapping for learning contents) but my question is: How would be a "mind map video"? I mean mind map are a 2D intent to match how our mind works. But are we 2D people?... (I hope you'll get my point of view) The inventor of Mind Map says that to be relevant a mind map HAS to be related with emotions, colors, stories, well all the things a video would be able to convey much easier than simply reading a boring (to me) mind map app... IMHO.
My question is actually in regard to your mind mapping. How is a Mind Map different than an Outline other than a Mind Map is horizontal and an Outline is verticle? Thank you.
@@harshagarwal3995 Agreed! IMHO this is because the author doesn't use properly the characteristics of an efficient mind map: mind mapping is not only about conecting relevant ideas between them, it is (mainly) about making connexions in your mind. That's why it HAS to be related with emotions, stories, colors: every thing that a good video maker would be able to convey. Therefore, making a "video mind map" would be better than reading mind map app schematic. IOW connecting the ideas of the book with colors, emotions triggers and stimulating stories. I couldn't see the video to the end. Way too boring; for me. Just my point of view. I hope other people have a different opinion for the sake of the author's very good intention.
Is anyone interested in working on a system together we could create and twick on to get closer to what we each individually need. Mostly I need accountability
@@EthanSchwandtTheMindMapGuy IMHO you've missed the point of an efficient mind map. The aim of a mind map should be to help us make neuronal connexions. Therefore, it should be related with colors, emotions and stories (your own stories or others' stories). A "video mind map" in my opinion should be way better than reading a mind map on video. Connecting the concepts with emotions, colors, animations and stories (one or more of them) IS the way film maker make such an impact on us (if they can trigger our proper perception and this is why they try not to "teach" us something but simply pick in the most common paradigms their prospects may have)

In a Nutshell , there is no differance, I have read GTD Book, and it says the Same

Biggest problems with you is,you did not clear a single thing about book,we have to read this complitly to understand
That's hardly the biggest problem with me! But thanks for your comment.
This book deserves a self read

This video wastes half the time talking about things unrelated to the book.
Agreed and, at the same time, it also loses all the important stuff that HAS to be related to a mind map if you want to enjoy is "natural effect".
