Maybe that’s what they were going for? A blunt and unfinished ending… a sense of “this can’t be the end”. Then of course confirming our suspicions with the end credit scene🤔
Even though they didn’t show what happened I personally believe that Jake has the ability to transmute himself and become intangible like a Spectre which is how he was able to get from under the staff and because he has the ability not to be touched but can touch other people at will is how he was able to kill everybody brutally and then give back the body to Mark and Steven. Think Doctor Strange and the Astro plane, Astro projecting himself or being intangible at will but with the ability to affect things around him. Which makes him the most brutal and effective killer out of the three of them.
I believe Khonshu grew big because it is the full moon that night. Moon Knight is bestowed the powers of Khonshu that means they both draw power from the moon. So the full moon will become their peak. Same explanation with Harrow. Since he is bestowed the powers of Ammit. The more souls Ammit eats, the stronger they get.
If im remembering right its actually the opposite Khonshu and Moon Knight are weakest during a full moon and strongest during a new moon but a fight with a new moon as the background wouldnt look as badass
So the souls that Marc saw descending in the underworld were from the soldiers and the avatars that Harrow killed, not the big finale soul suck, bc those go straight to Ammit. If you look in the scene when they're fighting, no more souls are descending from above
End credit scene was amazing I genuinely screamed when I saw Jake LIKE PLEASE WE’VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG AHH Also I would definitely prefer a second season instead of a movie. Come on guys, Use your brain a little bit further
Love and Thunder will tell us what’s coming next for Moon Knight. Depending on who Gor manages to kill. He could unknowingly remove the safety seals on much darker entities that want to destroy our world.
That would be a great way to show how wrong Gor is. Gor: What have deities ever done for us? (kills them). Me: Nice one clown. The gods were the only thing holding back ancient cosmic horrors and now you've set them free.
Khonshu was able to grow because the moon is full :D The moon is his power source, devouring souls is Amit's. I believe the bandaged nose was Marc, waking up AFTER Jake caused a fight in the ward.
I feel like the series was meant to be our introduction to the character of Moon Knight and those associated with him (like Layla and Khonshu), but he will be appearing again for the MCU's future. It might not be a season 2 since this was designated as a limited series, but I would love one. If not, the comments from series director Mohamed Diab and Kevin Feige saying that Moon Knight would be around a while indicate to me that Moon Knight (Marc/Steven/Jake) will have his story continued through future appearances in the MCU films and/or other series. Whether that's him helping another hero or being part of an ensemble as Moon Knight in comics has been on the Midnight Sons (the supernatural heroes which we are having introduced in this phase like Blade, Black Knight, and more that I won't spoil other than saying I can't wait for this October), Avengers, Defenders, and more Marvel hero teams. Love Layla being the MCU version of Scarlet Scarab. Layla is an original character created for the MCU (Diab even wanted her specifically to be Egyptian), but her superhero identity is comics-established. I hope she can show up in the future too. Felt like she got dropped during the final minutes and we don't really have a clue what's next for her unlike with Moon Knight and Khonshu.
I think having Moon Knight's introduction be a Disney Series works the best. Then Marvel can use him as a character or cameo in future MOVIES, such as their desire to have a Dark Avengers team with the likes of Blade, Ghost Rider, etc...
And having him in situations outside of his oeuvre is another great option. I mean team up with other like minded heroes would be fantastic but putting your characters in unfamiliar situations or outside their skillsets has led to some incredibly memorable MCU scenes. I'd be just as happy seeing Moon Knight showing up to fight some Doombots or Skrulls as I would be to see him team up with Ghost Rider to go up against Mephisto or clearing out vampires with Blade.
I agree with you, but that sounds more like a Midnight Sons (basically a team of Marvel's more supernatural heroes based around monsters, spirits, gods, etc.) lineup than Dark Avengers. I mean, you can argue they are a darker version of your typical Avengers ensemble, but Dark Avengers is an actual name of a team with a very specific meaning in Marvel with the most important being that it's a supervillain team.
Almost but not quite, Dark Avengers is made of Villains if anything Moon Knight would fit best when they do Midnight Sons, which is a team that deals with Supernatural stuff with Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Daredevil, Black Knight, Elsa Bloodstone & Warewolf by Night & a few other members & all the characters i just mentioned have been hinted in the MCU already & a few are getting reboots as we speak, & Oscar Isaac hits mentioned in an interview he would love his Moon Knight character in a team up movie & he said not as an Avenger cause we be there & done that already but something new, fresh, lil more edgy & dark like Midnight Son's & rumor is that is being considered at Marvel & they might be already setting it up & putting the pieces of that puzzle in motion since Marvel is heading in 3 different direction & they have begun mapping out the next 10yrs of the MCU & that's been confirmed by Kevin Feige himself last week at CinemaCon 2022 in Las Vegas. :)
I don't think you have any idea what the Dark Avengers are. Not a single character you listed has ever been part of that team nor would it make sense for any of them to be part of that team. Your comment makes it seem as if you believe "Dark Avengers" just means some random team of whatever "darker" Marvel heroes they feel like throwing together. That's not even close. The Dark Avengers are a team of villains pretending to be heroes. You basically described rhe Midnight Sons, a team that's about as similar to the Dark Avengers as the Power Pack is to the Howling Commandos
There is going to be a season 2 I think because Marvel a day before the episode aired wrote some where twitter I think, they wrote series finale but changed it to season finale

I absolutely loved everything in this episode the cgi the action the fighting sequences and I loved how Marc, Steven and Layla worked together I loved Steven’s new moves everything was just so good I hated Harrow he was just so bad at everything in this episode I loved the hippo, yea basically everything was good in this episode I also loved the for shadowing of Jake Lockley everything was just so cool also the end credit scene was a little suspicious… but anyways loved the reaction hope you have a great day!🥰
I agree with the ending being pretty unsatisfying, I was watching it with friends and when it ended everyone was just like “what?”, but the end-credits scene does make it better
As for why khonshu could get that big, it’s likely due to the moon. Khonshu’ s opponent is a god that gains strength from judging others. Khonshu is the moon god. As long as the moon is there, his powers are at their peak.
WandaVision had for me as one of the best but after binge watching the whole series today, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved it. Hands down the best!!!!
Pretty it was Jake still the one with the bandaid, about Jake, dont forget he is from New York, at least in the comics. When you listen to him talk you feel that New York accent. It is hard to notice between him and Marc, and also the face gestures, he was also the one drinking when he arrived to Egypt in the end of one of the episodes. That sort of latin-italian english. And the spanish, could easily come from been a driver(Taxi). in New York, there are a lot of latin americans, Puertoricans, Dominicans and many more. Just my thought, but i think i am into something there.
Disney has stated that Moon Knight is a limited series on Disney+ so there will not be a season 2 (but who knows they may change their mind). At the same time though they're not done with the character. As of right now the next appearance of moon knight I think will be on Werewolf by night unless there's other cameo's in MCU movies before that.
It make sense for him to come back in werewolf by night thats where he made his debut and now we know about match and Steven and what happened which helps
A film would be sick to have. But when you start adding it all up it would be a very tough balancing act. Especially when you consider the very fact that theres 3 alters now, they’d have to balance each of those out, the villain and then any downtime they have in between fights ect. A series just works so much more for Moon Knight imo. I really don’t mind if they go for season 2 next and then decide upon adding him to the MCU. Apparently from what I’ve also heard, Oscar Isaac only signed on for the Series ( that I know of thus far. Guess he didn’t want to get to ahead of himself so he can plan out a contract with Marvel / Disney )

Konshu was able to grow that big when fighting Amitt because it was a full moon where his full powers were unleashed as the source of his powers is from the moon
Marc consciously made Steven to cope with his trauma of being physically and mentally/emotionally abused by his mother, but I think that he, or Steven, unintentionally created Jake to be the one who took all the abuse 😰🥺😣😔. He's the most violent, destructive, bloodthirsty and aggressive of all three alters 😰. However, while he _enjoys_ killing, and without remorse or guilt, he's not _completely_ without empathy 🤔, as he seems to mostly come out when Marc and/or Steven are or feel threatened 🤔, and it looks like he only takes enjoyment in taking the lives of only the worst and that deserve it, like Khonshu said, and he only chooses an Avatar who has a strong moral conscience (Marc has this and so does Steven, _especially_ ) and the 2 or so male nurses who he killed at the psych ward (I read somewhere 🤔) were most likely violent abusers to the female nurses, one of which he was calm, gentle and kind towards when getting ready to take Harrow and Ammit to their respective demises 🤔. And he seemed to have especially enjoyed taking Harrow's life, saying today was his turn to lose obviously for murdering or attempting (🤔?) to murder Marc (and Steven and himself by proxy) as well as punishment for his numerous other sins 🤔🤷♂️. He seems to not have any desire to harm _any innocents_ , which was also shown when he injured but didn't kill the teenage boy in episode 3 🤔.
Marc is from Chicago, Steven has a (slightly fake(?)🤔🤷♂️) British accent, and when Jake showed up in episode 5 for a brief moment, he spoke in a deep Brooklyn (New York) accent 🤔. You can tell it was him, because he had a deranged/unhinged look and also had a cut and bandage across his nose. Apparently in the comics, his fighting style was boxing, and he's implied to be a Casanova in this show and set up that date for Steven with that woman named Dylan, who also nicknamed him "Punchy" over the phone. Also while he was a cab driver and Steven was the wealthiest of the alters in the comics, it's flipped around, because in the show, it seems that Jake is the wealthiest, in that he's a chauffeur for a limousine. The limo even says "SPKTR", after Marc's last name, Spector 🤔. Steven would have been too shy and meek to have set up that date himself (he himself said he didn't know about it), plus Marc (even though he was planning for a divorce 🥺😓) would have been too faithful to Layla to have done that either 🤔.
I feel like something that they are going to elaborate later is whoever “Duchamp” is in this series. I remember when Steven was looking through the call history on the phone almost all the names were Layla except for one time with the name “Duchamp” and we know Marvel wouldn’t have that in for no reason so I am very intrigued on how they will present that character.
Stop pushing Marvel to make Season 2 guys, Season 2 is not important.. It's far better for Marvel to focus bringing Moon Knight to the big screen.. With Box Office budget, they can make Moon Knight's visual effects better, with more stunning action sequences
Tbh, we need a 2nd season and a movie, a 2nd season bc we need to know more about Jake and that would be really hard to do in a movie so I would prefer a 2nd season, but after that? We definitely need a movie, Moon Knight deserves a cinematic type of spotlight, besides at that point the characters would be already stablished
I'm really happy I guessed correctly the Moon getting fuller each episode and that we would get a full moon by the end of the season, also Khonsu was able to grow as big as Emmit because it was a full moon. according to the comics (that I have never read) the fuller the Moon the more powerful Khonsu and Moon knight are.
Jake wasn't fully developed, I guess, my opinion is that Marc was suffering killing and being hurt again and again as Konshu's Avatar. Steven was a version with a simpler life, without childhood's traumas or the violence from Marc's adult life. Jake emerged to survive, do Konshu's bidding without moral doubts. When Jake appeared at the Hospital he was confused about Dr Harrow but remembered the Hippo since Marc was so shocked he escaped into the Jake persona.
Nice reaction. I think the next time we see Moonknight will be in somebody else's show. Werewolf by Night Maybe? Hmm coming in October. Just in time for Halloween.

That's why Moon Knight and Layla are having a hard time against Harrow because a full moon isn't their peak power
Moon Knight’s strength levels being attached to the moon is not inherently canon. it has applied in certain comics, but does not apply in the show.
So the souls that Marc saw descending in the underworld were from the soldiers and the avatars that Harrow killed, not the big finale soul suck, bc those go straight to Ammit. If you look in the scene when they're fighting, no more souls are descending from above
End credit scene was amazing I genuinely screamed when I saw Jake LIKE PLEASE WE’VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG AHH
Also I would definitely prefer a second season instead of a movie. ALSO amazing video as always 😍 and I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one that was laughing and literally SCREAMING at some scenes 😭😭
Honestly I am so happy we actively got him instead of them teasing it and not giving it until season 2 or a movie😭 And thank you!! This was such a fun series
Ahh yes, this episode was so perfect from the start. The fight scene, the ending, Layla's costume, and of course, JAKE LOCKLEY in the mid-credit scene!!!
Man, What a way to end this series.
We need season 2 right now, Marvel!!!
Why? There's no need to make a limited series another season..
It's better to make Moon. Knight appears on the big screen sooner.. With Box Office budget, They can make Moon Knight's visual effects better, they can make more stunning action sequences..
We don't need season 2
On Twitter it has officially changed from a series finale to a season finale so season 2 is most likely coming 😁
Look at the first credits. At 37:23.- You can see the Head of the dress of Moon Knight from Jake.
I have to Ammit, I get selfKhonshu without my Fandomion merch when I forget Taweret.
I loved this finale seeing Marc & Steven work together was great then switching back & forth, Layla getting to be an avatar was awesome! It’s funny Konshu pretty much just became a megazord to fight lol & seeing Jake finish the job was cool
That was a really good finale I am happy with how it turned out🥰 made me tear up a lil when Mark didn’t stop thinking of Steven so when there was a chance he could find him he fully went for it to save him even though it was so risky! 😭❤️
Loved watching moon knight and loved watched moon knight with you 🫶🏻
0:13 I love your giggles
Jack Lockley SAYS HELLO!!also love the lil pigtails
The little “hala!” at 14:40 made me giggle hahahah your know you’re invested when the tagalog come out without thinking about it hahah
It slipped out😂
16:00 you were right there was a catch
That sneaky old vulture !
there's definitely gonna be a season 2, it really felt like a season finale rather than a series finale. so yeah, marc and steve is still moon knight, they just probably don't know it yet
If Oscar got the Emmy's then there won't be season 2
“You think you own this body?”

@@naufalpahlevi8976 Oscar winning the Emmy’s doesn’t matter. All that matters was it was submitted. I hope Disney will change their mind
@@ma.2089 Why you guys more interested in Season 2 with small tv budget? rather than have Moon Knight appear in next MCU movies with Box Office budget..
With Box Office budget they can make Moon Knight's visual effects better with more stunning action sequences.. Just look at Wandavision, it was also a Limited Series, the next appearance of Wanda is in the movie DSMoM, not Wandavision 2, And considering how Awesome Wanda in DSMoM, Did you really really think Marvel should make Wandavision 2 instead of DSMoM???
Come on guys, Use your brain a little bit further
Oscar Isaac is from Guatemala

Don't know how common it is but I've studied some of the stuff for DID and this actually happens
There is going to be a season 2 I think because Marvel a day before the episode aired wrote some where twitter I think, they wrote series finale but changed it to season finale
👀
SPOILERS!
I absolutely loved everything in this episode the cgi the action the fighting sequences and I loved how Marc, Steven and Layla worked together I loved Steven’s new moves everything was just so good I hated Harrow he was just so bad at everything in this episode I loved the hippo, yea basically everything was good in this episode I also loved the for shadowing of Jake Lockley everything was just so cool also the end credit scene was a little suspicious… but anyways loved the reaction hope you have a great day!🥰
Yes I agree! The best Marvel show in my opinion!!
DEFINITELY
I love how you react at the seeming ending. Like;
_"...What!?"_
Cracked me up. 😂
I agree with the ending being pretty unsatisfying, I was watching it with friends and when it ended everyone was just like “what?”, but the end-credits scene does make it better
Yeah it definitely felt really abrupt but I guess that was intentional in making us think “that can’t be IT” and ultimately we got JAKE🤯
This show was freaking amazing!!! I can't wait to see more of Jake. Also congrats on your interview!
AGREED!! And thank you so much🥰
@@MonicaCatapusan You're welcome!
As for why khonshu could get that big, it’s likely due to the moon. Khonshu’ s opponent is a god that gains strength from judging others. Khonshu is the moon god. As long as the moon is there, his powers are at their peak.
I was literally just thinking "damn it's kinda weird that monica hasn't reacted to it yet" lol
Oh it’s always on the way!!
@@MonicaCatapusan A response! Hey! Love ur vids!
WandaVision had for me as one of the best but after binge watching the whole series today, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved it. Hands down the best!!!!
Great reaction as usual and love the hair!
Thank you!!
The moment the souls were coming before their time was the part where they were stopping by the cops and they killed them.

Awesome series! Awesome reaction! By the way, I was wondering if you were considering reacting to the BIg Mouth spinoff Human Resources?

Yess season 2 is a better choice, I really want it bad😭😭
Yhup, definitely a season 2 coming
I wonder if the people of Cairo are reassessing their religious choices? Having two of the 'old gods' duking it out above your head must make you wonder whether maybe your ancestors had the right idea after all. 😆
Love the necklace. I found one of Khonshu recently I might pick up. It’ll be hard to take off my Wutang one though lol.
Thank you! Oooo a Khonshu one👀
The best Marvel series yet! 🌟🔥🌙
Hands DOWN💯
The episode has a title now (it's "Gods and Monsters"). Disney do seem to be a bit slow in adding titles to episodes sometimes.
I’m rewatching the episode right now and I just noticed that!! I changed it in my description now☺️
12:29 Khonshu's the God of the Moon and the Night Sky, so he would've been at the peak of his power on the night of a full moon.
I love layla's costume
Layla and Taweret are th3 best duo. They're the reverse Marc and Khonshu
It was so perfect💯

There was gonna only be 1 season. But yes so good it’s gonna have a 2nd season. Yay us!
I think it's her weapon Harrow uses. Which makes it more powerful.

That's Frenchie, and yeah I was waiting for him to show up
Stop pushing Marvel to make Season 2 guys, Season 2 is not important..
They did the ending so good yeah. Can we all agree?
Nice reaction. I think the next time we see Moonknight will be in somebody else's show. Werewolf by Night Maybe? Hmm coming in October. Just in time for Halloween.
some light on the questions
konshu could grow that big becouse it was full moon night when his powers are in his peak
the soul we saw fallin in the duat were the cops not those who feed the ammit
layla actress actualy is egyptcian making this way more cool
the gods didnt die the avatars did before they could transform quick draw wins
they didnt know the chants konshu and taweret did
