Mayuka wasn’t even picked for the Tokyo camp originally, she was a call back and even then they didn’t really show her getting accepted. We were so close to not having her in NiziU😢
Mayuka isn’t my bias but, out of all the girls I applaud her journey to NiziU the most. She was continuously underestimated, even by me. I didn’t notice her much in season one and I didn’t think she’d make the final lineup in season two. And then the Heartbeat performance came. I started to look back on all her performances and realized that she was the dark horse who would prove everyone wrong. I think rapping is her strong suit and she seems like such a warm-hearted person. I’m glad that JYP opened his eyes and gave Mayuka those 3 cubes last minute in season one. I hope that Mayuka, and of course the rest of NiziU, become wildly successful in the coming years.
The scary thing is Mayuka had no training before joining Nizi Project and already her rap in the pre-debut Make You Happy MV is so good. In fact many reactors are impressed with the MV due to Mayuka's machine-gun rapping. Imagine when Mayuka gets more rap training, more dance practice and more voice lessons. She could become Niziu's Ace.
Niziu is incredibly full of aces, the only member that has a lack of skills is ayaka but it´ll get better by the time and well she already look like an idol.

@@MM-fv7hi I think what the commentor meant was that Mayuka has talent but she didn’t have the most amount of talent compared to a lot of the other girls who were chosen to debut because she didn’t really have any formal training before Nizi Project and that JYP doesn’t really care about how much training someone has if they have a good attitude and are willing to improve.

Actually from the beginning I chose Mayuka especially for her behaviors and sweet heart :) and I waited to Jyp see her and it really happened and I'm really happy for her. Cause she absolutely deserved that.
I actually never noticed her in season 1. I was surprised that she was one of the 14 chosen members to go to Korea for Nizi season 2. Her cute fairy-like performance in Twice's DTNA to a badass/cool in 2pm's Heartbeat really amazes me. She's feeling the mood for every song she performs and that she enjoys it. She is humble and doesn't give up to stress and pressure. It's like she is challenging the things she can't do by trying to improve herself. She's strong and an "everyday-improving-person". Go Mayuka! Keep up the good work and Fighting~!!!
Mayuka is my bias wrecker and favorite rapper in NiziU. She came from out of nowhere, and went from 0 cubes to 3 in ONE performance. She mostly ranked at the bottom in Nizi Project, but she stayed positive and continued to make great strides of improvement until she debuted. She is proof that as long as you don't give up, you can go from the bottom to the very top!
Mayuka really works hard I remember Riku crying when Mayuka got 3 cubes during the Tokyo showcase because she finally got what she deserved. and to be honest I was also scared she might get eliminated during season 2 bc she lack screen time A LOT but when she did the rap for heartbeat I had this feeling that performance might be key for people and JYP himself to recognize Mayuka. Now she's a member of NiziU I feel like a proud big sis for her.

Watching Nizi Project really gave me a lot of respect for Mayuka. I watched Nizi Project AFTER having watched Niziu videos , and some of the WithU and other videos NiziU put out, and I took a liking to Mayuka for her cuteness and cheerful demeanor. But after watching about half of Part 1 of Nizi project, I remember turning to my brother and being like, I’ve seen most of the girls I know that sparkles early like Mako, Miihi and Nina but where’s Mayuka?? And he was like, you gotta wait bro. Huge props to her. In the show, she went from an afterthought to me pondering who the best rapper in NiziU is between her and Rima. I can’t wait to see more from her
I liked her from 'Just dance the night away' performance so I tried searching for her past performance in ss 1. I couldn't find anything accept Dalla Dalla, tho. I just realized from this video that she got so little screen time back then TT. One thing I also noticed is that she looks very different w/ and w/o her bang. That's probably why sometimes I didn't realize it was her when I watch the show. Thanks for putting all her scene in one video. Now I've fallen in love with her even more

I cant tell how truely happy i am for Mayuka. I keep looking at her and worry people might not see a Mayuka as I see in my eyes. An underdog, underated, yet is such a natural on stage. She works hard, never gives up and keep improving each and every stage. For me, the stage that set a position for her in NiziU is Dance the night away.
mayuka kinda reminds me of dahyun. i mean, dahyun is also a lil bit lack of dancing and singing when she was in sixteen but she has this quality star, not to mention that she's also improved a lot now. so does mayuka, her hard work has been paid off. way to go mayuka, hope she keeps improving in the future. she really deserved it

Mayuka is so strong!
I liked her from 'Just dance the night away' performance so I tried searching for her past performance in ss 1. I couldn't find anything accept Dalla Dalla, tho. I just realized from this video that she got so little screen time back then TT.
One thing I also noticed is that she looks very different w/ and w/o her bang. That's probably why sometimes I didn't realize it was her when I watch the show. Thanks for putting all her scene in one video. Now I've fallen in love with her even more

mayuka kinda reminds me of dahyun. i mean, dahyun is also a lil bit lack of dancing and singing when she was in sixteen but she has this quality star, not to mention that she's also improved a lot now. so does mayuka, her hard work has been paid off. way to go mayuka, hope she keeps improving in the future. she really deserved it
