I have to say I have not heard this in a few years but it brought me right back to that moment when we wrote it... Track 13 written at the 11th hour with a lot of love.
The best Whitesnake song since the band came back together back in 2002.. In fact, one of the best songs ever. Years fly fast, wish you and David co-write some new songs again, someday. Also, you were so down to earth and i am so glad i met you in 2012, in Greece. Thanks for everything Doug!

This song is epic, melodious, and this really show cases Coverdale's incredible vocals.
This reminds me of me and my finace. We had dated one another years ago. Went our separate ways. I found him years later and his marriage was falling apart. We remained friends. Him and his wife divorced. We stayed friends for a while. But became closer through his coping with all he had been through. We fell deeply in love and have been together for a couple of years now. He says if it wasn't for me being there, he don't know what he would have done. It was like this song was written for us. We are going to be married this year.

What a fabulous song. Most bands don't make really good songs when they passed the age of fifty/sixty. But this song is maybe better than the best ballads they made in their eighties. Every time I hear this song I'm amazed.

This is a great song, his voice sounds incredible on it. Seen him live close to a dozen times. While his range may not be what it was, he still delivers every show.

We have always been 3, our minds linked everytime we heard one of their songs. Now we're together. He, I, and Whitesnake, I hope "forevermore". Impossible not to feel touched in the heart when we watched them live in concert here in our country in September. I hope they'll come back soon...

Λατρεύω Whitesnake και το συγκεκριμένο είναι καλύτερο σε live έκδοση. Απλά προσωπικά δε νομίζω πως είναι το καλύτερο power ballad, ίσως της μπάντας τα τελευταία χρόνια, τότε ναι. Επίσης θυμίζει Kashmir, δεν κακό, ο Aldrich είναι θεός στο κομμάτι.

The best moments...Whitesnake and Judas Priest on one stage here in Belgrade...but more awesome moment than when he sang this song is when David Coverdale after Whitesnake finished all there songs...He came out on stage and without any insrtuments sang Solider Of Fortune....that is the most awesome moment in my life that i will remembere till i die...
I think this is one of the best rock songs ever made but i never heard it on the radio. Odd it is the last song on the album but the best by far.
