I did this method on my daughter this summer with her crochet braids in the 1st 2rows. You definitely inspired me and everyone thought I spent all day braiding her hair when all I did was individuals in the front! It lasted all summer. I need to edit that video one day and post it! 🤦🏾♀️😂

Find your own hair braid it the top of the crochet loop and gently pull it out and unbraid your hair then your good , i saw a demo on yt just search up take down for individual crochet box braids

Those braids are beautiful, I've always wanted to learn how to do braids and twists, but I have no one I can practice on or where to start lol if anyone has any recommendations on a styling head or where I can start It would be so appreciative. I love to learn new things and hobbies because I'm physically disabled so I'm stuck at home or in bed for days on end. I actually taught myself to Crochet during recovery from my hip replacement surgeries I love making my boyfriend beanies and making stuffed animals or blankets and am considering selling my projects. Mostly I'm just looking for things I can do to distract myself, people are always surprised because they tend to think crocheting and sewing is a grandma hobby and I'm young but I love being able to do something other then sitting in bed recovering from my chronic illnesses, anyway love the look ❤ it's so pretty!

When I did my boho braids I used Maysa ocean wave from Amazon and put gorilla snot gel on the pieces and crochet that hair through my braids. The hair does not frizz when you do this and if you have a piece that does it’s crochet in just pull it out and crochet a new. But it holds up when I do this. Definitely going to try your method.

Hi! Thank you so much! No, the takedown is so easy! I'm going to show it, but basically, you just find the top knot of your own natural braid and pull up. That will slide your hair out of the box braid. Then, you can cut the box braid up high and unravel it. Or if you plan to reuse, just unbraid your own natural braid and the box braid will slide right out unharmed! :)
I probably should have tried it in crochet first... but my hair color is not available. I got my hair done and I couldn't keep it in longer than 2 weeks my scalp was in severe pain. It was too heavy on my head. I got to make crochets my go to but my natural color hair is the problem. I usually rinse my hair burgundy in the spring and summer, but rock my own color throughout the fall and winter. My hair color is a reddish brownish goldish.. mixed up hair color 😂😂😂 So hard to match it, even with using #30 & #33.
That looks beautiful, but my big ass head would need 3 packs, and at 200 dollars, I'd want to keep using them over and over again. With my hair inside the braid how would I take it down without cutting the braid, will my hair just unloop from the synthetic without getting tangled.

These companies now they’re wrong by charging this much but giving you synthetic braids. For all that buy affordable synthetic braids and add your own boho human hair with hair you already have, and you can add waaaay more for a fuller look. I would NEVER pay hundreds for a human synthetic blend anything

Hi! Thank you so much! No, the takedown is so easy! I'm going to show it, but basically, you just find the top knot of your own natural braid and pull up. That will slide your hair out of the box braid.
