I feel like Deku clearing the clouds in the sky with his punch is a parallel to the time he saw All Might do it for the first time in the beginning of the story!
The sky is blue but has orange clouds and you know it’s looks like the sky will be on sunset 🌇 after Heroes and Villains has been fighting on Final War all daytime 🏙️ to rain storm ⛈️ and then later on it will be on nighttime 🌃
Yea but it’s like all might started the story making a stormy cloud and Deku ended the story by destroying that stormy cloud

I feel like the best part of this chapter personally was Shiggy telling deku to relay a message to spinner if he’s still alive . It goes to show that although shigaraki wanted to destroy everything, if there’s one thing in this life he cared about , it was Spinner . Besto bros

Such a shame that Fellow Reptile is the most forgettable member in the league of losers to most fans especially when they cut out his backstory during the MVA arc in the Anime due to budget

Seeing as how all the heroes in this final battle overwhelmed Danger Sense. This is an immaculate example of Destiny’s Bomb Logic. A Spark alone is negligible, but a Spark, with gunpowder, a detonator, and an arm to throw it creates an explosion powerful enough to fell GODS. Amazing.

I loved that part, too. None of the individual heroes being enough of a threat to trigger Danger Sense, so they got by him to overwhelm him, is a great way to sneak by that quirk, while also reinforcing the theme of "One person alone couldn't do this, but everyone together can."
Can't believe that we have reached the end of MHA. I mean, yeah, it's obvious that it would end already with the past few chapters but wow... I have no idea how long it has been, but I'm so glad that I subscribed to this channel since the beginning of MHA and have got to see its end. It's been an amazing journey seeing Deku and everyone else's development over the years.
Think we’ll get to see Class 1-A grown up as adult heroes and see them with the possible ships we’ve wanted them to be with?

Im glad you noticed the blood on the impact of the punch right before the chapter ends. That is how the quirk was transferred in the 2nd movie.. and I really dont want my boy Deku to be quirkless again. Even if it is a more poetic ending..
It doesn't mean anything. It's just blood, that's it. There is no transferring of quirks! If there were, we would have seen it
Considering the fact that he's capable of bench pressing a freaking truck even without using OFA, the kid should do fine as a quirkless hero.

Remember, the entire ending was set up at episode 1 at the start of the show, this entire story is just one big flashback of how Deku became the No.1, which explains why Deku said "This is how I became the No.1 hero" basically explaining that the Heros defeated All for one for good, and here it is.

I love All for One 's backstory
It doesn't try to make him sympathetic
which is fresh breath for a while
i think it would be really cool if shigaraki's last last act was to give deku all for one during that final fist bump they had. it would be a crazy final act of defiance towards AFO, and would come full circle with yoichi's words of that quirk being one of the kindest quirk a person could have.
Maybe he also gave him back One For All and all of the quirks inside as well. Maybe All For One and One For All combined together to create a new quirk.

@@MatthewLoh-ru1mw Didn't you read the chapter, Shigaraki and Deku touched hands. When they touched hands, there was a lot of blood, meaning that something might have been passed on to Midoriya. Plus, Deku is barely hanging on to life with all of his injuries and overuse of quirks, having the regeneration quirk inside of All For One may help him recover quickly.

This time, though, people know that in the end, no matter what, YOU can be a hero. That's a nice wrap to the series whole motif. "You're my hero" and "I'll do whatever it takes to be a hero"

This would still be false, given All Might was never, statistically, the greatest hero, but he was always heralded as such. Even if Bakugo was statistically better, Deku would always be heralded as this era's greatest.
Lets also not forget just how much of a beatdown quirkless, emberless, barely clinging to life through his injuries All Might was able to deal AFO.

Seeing AFO brought down by his own void he surrounded himself with was so satisfying. People were a collection to him and he wanted to brag about it to Yoichi. And when he lost his single connection to the time of his true era, it all became a mad hunt to regain what was always impossible. And he quite honestly died JUST like Pride from FMAB. He physically can’t connect to others as a psychopath, as he thinks so lowly of them. But it’s the connection he deep down craved. And much like Gran Torino said sometimes the only way to save someone is to kill them. Shigaraki’s sadness would never have stopped. No destruction was going to cover it. And no collection was going to big enough to fix AFO. They truly were too far gone. Both of them.
Now DID Deku lose OFA? I’m not sure that has to be confirmed next chapter. He did vestige damage again which is something All-Might couldn’t do in OFA. But if it’s the vestige world we saw those last images of Shigaraki, then Deku retains his vestige. HIS OFA that is “completed.” The work of the past can be put to rest as it’s now Deku to continue as his own. And considering what Bakugo can do, Deku should be at the level he was without the prime boost that flew in. What he’s built is nothing but himself now.
I’m starting to think Horikoshi trolled us on Deku’s dad reveal. I think it’s flat out going to be Toshinori Yagi. Hisashi Midoriya can’t possibly be reasonably added to this story now. I just don’t see it happening. And it’s SO satisfying he called All-Might the 8th. Because to him he’s no longer just the almighty one he could never reach. But the one he considers to be right up there with.
Kurogiri turning on AFO to fulfill the order AFO GAVE HIM. Which is…wow. Shirakumo looks like he’s going to pass away now though. One last goodbye. And I think Compress is going to have his moment being keeping Spinner together when he finds out what happened to Shigaraki.
They power of friendshipped AFO and I’m perfectly ok with that. One because it wasn’t the cheering for you makes you stronger and more the EVERYONE contributed in a genuine way. I’m going to assume Uraraka comes to Deku’s rescue as he falls from that massive explosion. 2 is because AFO getting beaten by weaklings once he was severely harmed when to him they were but gnats is just proof he never could have gained ANYTHING he wanted with that line of thinking.
What a LEGENDARY chapter. I just LOVED it. Whoof. This show never ceases to fill me with joy from the bottom of my heart.
I hope Deku is able to at least have the stockpiling quirk due to cultivating his own vestige. However,I do have a theory on how Hisashi Midoryia could still be somewhat relevant to the story even at the very end. Remember, this is future Deku narrating about the story of how he became the greatest hero in the world. For all we know, he could be telling this story to his dad, when he comes back home extremely worried for his son after seeing him fight the greatest villain in history on live television. So Deku’s telling him this story to make sure he’s all caught up with the events that happened since he was away working abroad. Which honestly, is a pretty good and satisfying twist that could happen. That this whole time we’ve been hearing future Deku narrate his story that he’s actually been talking to his father about it the entire time.

@@t.j.1584 well the option is Deku keeps his personal stockpile, or he’s quirkless. I think he WILL keep it because he promised Bakugo at the very beginning he would beat him with his own power. And Bakugo declaring watch out or I’ll surpass you as he tumbles on the ground would be funny but also deflate if Deku immediately lost his quirk after this. There SHOULD be enough implication Deku will stay with stockpile.

One ofAll Mights first punch in the story brings the clouds and caused rain when he saved bakugo and midoriyas last punch cleared the skies and brought the sun when he saved the day. A "sunset/sunrise" type of moment. Remember that was the day all might and midoriya met

Kurogiri is one of the best hero of MHA he did not care who, what or where he was. He always tried to help no matter what he become. Izuku is one of the best main character I've known to love and I truly am glad I grew up with it.

You can understand someone's situation and why they feel how they feel, but that doesn't mean that you support what they do about it. That's life. There's a lot of people out there in a lot of situations, and some of them are very sad, and while we may pity them, it doesn't mean we feel they should escape punishment.
This was a wild ride. I was in sixth grade when show started and never got into it. A good friend got me into it and I never stop. Deku if you are quikless at end. To me you still have one for all and gave me a reason to be my best friend
I feel like he can’t be quirkless though, man. Simply because he said “this is the story of how I became the number 1 hero in the world” and how can he be number 1 if he’s quirkless? He’d be “retired” like All Might…and obviously All Might was no longer number 1 once that happened…so idk, man?

He might even get AFO and be able to use it for good. I feel like they kinda hinted at that ability being used in a positive way already, didn’t they?

In the end, MHA delivered what it set out to do. A torch that cuts through the darkest of voids. Maybe people won't love this chapter, and some people unconditionally hate Deku which is their opinion, but Deku has been one of the greatest sources of inspiration for me. What it means to keep going despite everything being against you, this child was bullied for so much of his life, and even his favourite hero told him that you can't be a hero without a quirk, he fought against his self ending tendencies and fought a war even if it was him against the world. Now he is back as he started, a quirkless high school kid, but in the end Deku did, he is the greatest hero in the history of this world, even surpassing what Almight failed to be, and the true completor of Ofa, fighting as the one hero when all failed, the true meaning of One for All.
So the true “completer” of OFA doesn’t even use the power to win? Come on this seems like such a stupid way of beating the final boss? When you work really hard to increase and practice skills those powers shouldn’t just vanish. I’m sorry but its just super lame. It makes it seems like hard work and dedication and building up your skills is pointless and just having friends and believing in yourself is what matters. The most unsatisfying ending in any manga or anime I’ve seen. It’s not a good lesson, in the real world strength is accumulated and when you earn power you receive you dont throw away that power and win you earned it and its what helps you level up and move through life.
I think you're missing the point. Deku took the power to its absolute maximum to even get to this point. He used every ounce of power through the battle. All of his strength and resolve he built honing its power through the series made him who he is today. His real super power was his unshakeable resolve and compassion for others. @mindfulk9260

I love the MHA series. The fandom maybe be controversial, but I will forever love it. It's the first real anime I've sat down to watch. I'll miss it... But I hope, that maybe... Just maybe... One For All returns anew, as a new quirk. Much stronger than the original OFA, and one that can be used by both Quirk Users and the Quirkless. Starting anew, Deku still becomes the number 1 hero, and the rest of Class 1-A continue with their new lives, as changed people.
But that's just me. I'm being a bit too optimistic for the OFA Returning theory. But, hey, we can all dream.

As someone who watched MHA as my first anime (the fandom made me drift away from it) its sad seeing it go, but I’m happy it’s finally ending because honestly, fandom aside, it’s amazing.

As someone who's first anime was also MHA and has been with it for almost 4 years, I agree with you. This show was amazing, and I'm glad I got to be apart of Deku's Journey.
Things I think could possibly happen.
1. Tenko will be reborn from a single lasting/remaining piece of shigaraki’s body but he will have the original All For One quirk.
2. Deku will get one for all back but he won’t be able to use the past uses quirks anymore.
3. Deku will somehow manage to stop the quirk singularity and get rid of all quirks.

In the final arc All for One
- gets lured out of hiding into a trap while wearing a nice suit
- has his main troops separated and defeated one by one by their thematic counterparts
- has his body dramatically affected by an aging process thanks to a medical practitioner
- is responsible for the main protagonist who happens to wear green losing an arm that manages to grow back shortly afterwards
- kills another villain
- fights a large army of the opposition that alone wouldn’t threaten him but together pushes him into an unfavorable situation
- battles while under a lethal time limit
- tries to flee from the battlefield thanks to said time limit but a battered hero won’t let him escape
- has a flashback to a time when he fought the greatest hero and lost but managed to comeback after certain death
- fights while using tentacle appendages
- is forced to turn into a baby at one point that eventually dies out
- claims to be the ultimate demon lord
- reflects on how his plans ended for naught and thinks about the words of a sickly man that opposed him
- mentally hijacks someone else’s body to prolong his own life after his death in baby form
- finally achieves what he wants but has it taken away from him shortly after
- has that same person beat him in that mental world finishing him off for good
- has his final demise happen in a chapter that ends with a 3

While it may not seem like much, it actually seems like a brilliant move to have it where AFO goes down after two hits. A man who has a seemingly endless supply of stolen quirks and could near unkillable and unstoppable is actually stopped from two hits because in the end he made a simple mistake: He underestimated the ants. And technically lost to the weakest one of them all who no longer had a quirk left but just enough to end the fight once and for all.
If anything, MHA's approach to story telling is indeed unique in its own right. Might not be over the top like other series, but it had its own drama which did help it to reach this point where the series is just about finished. The question now will be what we'll see now: How will the world move past this war and AFO's defeat.

My dad wanted me to watch this anime and loved it. I am now waiting to see how it would look like animated. This story is very emotional, yet a great one. You did what All might wasn't able to do, Deku. Thank you for this manga Horikoshi. I also hope you and Uraraka gets together. Once this ends, I'll be sad because this anime was one of my first ones and happy because I've been watching this since the beginning.
I finally understood what the quirk One For All really meant all this time. Completing the quirk was never about the power of all the quirks combined, etc. but it was how Deku's will and belief was passed on to every single other hero and even the president of the United States in this case, in this time of war and chaos and how every single one came together to help Deku for the singular purpose of defeating All For One, once and for all. Deku truly is "One For All".
Even if, you may not be capable with just being one person, as you grow as a person and as a hero. You learn that team work is the most important thing that can change many lives with the right effort. MHA is truly an amazing story, I hope it taught many people the things that it taught me. Anyone can be a hero as long as we have the will to try being one. And eventually people will follow you and aid you, whether for the better or for the worse. (that's one of the many things it taught me, it sure has many great tales within a tale.)

There are 2 things I wish we saw done better in the chapter
1. Instead of bakugo using his mouth I think he should have used his legs to cause the explosion. As a reference to shoot style and that his arms were also destroyed
2. It would have been awesome to see midoryia smile as he's saying his last words to Afo. The last thing he saw was truly an all night like figure, welding the power he wanted, and sending him off with a smile
Legs would have been a great call back to Shoot Style, but I read it more as how Deku used Froopy's tongue style because he was so desperate to save Shigaraki at the end of the first war, and Dynamight was desperate to save Deku at this moment. But both would have been great!
I'm fine with Deku not smiling since most of his arc is separating himself from the figure that was All-Might and being his own greatest hero.
The last part would never work as Afo is a monster and doesn't deserve any smiles
I don't get why everyone thinks Shigaraki and Deku only had 2 pages. They had whole chapters how Deku tried to save him but he wanted to be a "hero to the villains" and he truly was. I have heard people comment that Americans can't handle a weekly release and I agree, as an American.
I do believe the arch was rushed, I do wish we had more of Deku's memories when their memories merged, but overall this was a great ending.
How do people not see this!! Maybe we'll get more context later, and I would be happy for it, but Horikoshi as clearly wanted to end the series as quickly as possible and he is still doing a great job despite rushing it a little more then I would have preferred.
I agree, some people have bad memory. Also the final villain didn't take "2 punches", by the time AFO came back Shigaraki's body was pretty messed up from receiving OFA, Deku's attacks just finished the job.
Technically this is only the ending of the fight, mha would probably still have a chapter or 2
Wrong, he's not Quirkless. Ppl saying Deku is quirkless clearly dont understand the last few pages. AFO needed Deku as a vessel, he had all of OFA in his being, Shiggy, with the rest of the vestiges overpowered AFO, and the last moment, Shiggy, touching Dekus hand or them being connected transfered it back. Even Yoichi mentioned it when he said AFO wanted to do it right this time.

This could legitimately happen. What you said did happen, and I think that All For One and One For All were transferred back to Deku. Plus he is barely hanging on to life with all of his injuries and overuse of quirks, so he may get both AFO and OFA in order to heal using the Super Regeneration quirk.
Does he NEED OFA back or do people just want him to not be quirkless again?
Frankly I don't care if MHA doesn't have what other shonens do. MHA still has something of its own and that's fine, I still love the series and noone can change my mind.
I think it would've been nice seeing another shot of shigaraki standing up to his master. As all the past figures of one for all surround him we see shigaraki walking slowly up to all of one pissed with a clenched fist as he basically tells him off then boom punches him as his final act of destruction. Destroying the man who manipulated him all his life .
This was onw of the best creations and animes i ever watched i could feel all the emotions put into it sadness,happiness,regret,nostalgia.. all served in the same dish its feels really weird knowing that this is probably the end of the series all these years of watching this since 2016 of wqiting for a new season but now just knowing there isnt gonna be a season 8 really make me burst into teras

My theory. Shigs passed AFO/OFA combo back to Deku...and he'll go craazy and be super overhwlemed, then Ochaco will come sweeping in, claiming her love, calming him down like when Black Whip first came up, (because shes the heros hero) and Deku will pass stolen quirks back to people like Hawks etc...then we'll get a tease for our heros 15 years down the line like Naruto and Bleach. (Family and kids)

I want this to happen, this could make the most sense as Deku becomes the “World’s Greatest Hero”. By having the two most powerful quirks in the series, that can be the way he becomes that and more.

@@PainKiller1.6180That was in order to reach Tenko, plus when Shigaraki and Deku were fighting against All For One, the vestiges of the previous users appeared. I think it’s pretty clear that Deku is going to regain the quirks as a last act of good from Tenko Shimura, plus Deku is already heavily injured after overusing Gearshift.
He might not have sweat glands in his mouth but I imagine with how much has been going on and his battle IQ, Bakugo probably started collecting the sweat dripping from his forehead in his mouth. Like when you're working out and you can taste the salt running down your face. Super creative if thats how it was intended to be interpreted
My hero was the first anime i ever watched. and while it has had many low points throughout its run (Class 1A vs 1B and the tartarous escapees arc). it will hold a special place in my heart

I’ve been watching your chapter review for years now and i thank you for explaining each chapter , MHA showed great character development and just seeing everyone’s transformation and how far they were wiling to go was dope , now I just want deku to have at least one quirk

Considering this is basically based off Star Wars, I wouldn't be surprised if All For One managed to transfer his quirk somehow at the last second, only to come back as a quirkless villain (or a guy with a terrible, not so powerful quirk). Then we can see the thing we have all been waiting for - Villain Deku.

There were a lot of bumps along the way, characters could have been utilized more and arcs could have been lengthened but I still enjoyed the journey. It's also very understandable why things had to be rushed, Horikoshi should have taken more hiatuses so he wasn't damaging his health but maybe that wasn't possible? I know shonen jump can be pretty unreasonable sometimes.
Hopefully after MHA we still get more stories from him. (After he's fully rested)
I still want deku to regain full one for all.
Defeating the demon king is heroic but izuku isn't a hero to beat bad guys but to save the people. And one for all is one of the best powers to do so
Ideally id want that, i dont care if its less poetic or takes away from the impact of the final battle.

@@the_malevolent_one It's thematic, the thing he had started the story obsessing over, and that he was told was absolutely necessary to be a hero ended up being the very thing he needed to give up in order to be the hero that the world needed. It calls back to the question that started this series, about whether he could be a hero even without a quirk, as only in losing his quirk did he finally fully live up to that ideal of being a hero.
I was a highschool graduate when first season aired, now I'm an old man in his retirement when witnessing the finale of MHA manga.

Well, since I don’t want Deku to be Quirkless, I would like him to inherit ether All For One or New Order, or at the very least, use the Blue Quirk Bullets to give him a Quirk of his own, like “Dragon Breath” you created in a previous video, or he somehow regains One For All and hopefully the other quirks with it too, but that’s just how I think anyway

I’m pretty happy with that ending. It wasn’t spectacular but it got me invested long enough to watch 7 seasons and it feels like I didn’t waste my time.
Deku might have like a fusion of the base versions of OFA and AFO so he'll still be super strong because of the stockpiling but other than that it'll just be a quirk that can remove or give quirks as well as maybe adding a consent stipulation
I like the fact that when OFA was first introduced. Allmight changed the weather and caused rainclouds to form and at the end of OFA Deku parted the Storm clouds above. Very symbolic!
Honestly man.... the ending wasn't bad, but I just would have never thought it would turn up this way after watching seasons 1-3 of the anime, lol.
Obviously reading this chapter it does feel a bit lackluster in a way like shigaraki only getting to pages but I feel like in the anime it'll hit so much more depending on how they animate and out everything together! I can already imagine the OST's thooo so I'm really excited!
Season 7 will have 21 episodes so I don’t think all chapters of Final War will fit in 16-17 episodes so I say it covers chapters 343-410 (Volume 34-40) and save Volume 41 and 42 on Final Season Part 2 as they’ll make a TV movie with 2 parts and then later on by splitting 4-5 episodes like they did with Attack on Titan 2 final episodes with movie
I gotta say that part he said that AFO was a lonely man because that is true especially for his and the moment he was born and grew up as a child that all he sees is just nothing he just thinks about the power he has and about himself and every time somebody looks away from him, he reacts and kills them mindlessly because man he was not raised with love while growing up with a parent just had himself and his power and his brother was in the way trying to tell him to stop and never came to his senses.
I saw this coming ages ago. It’s been a strong point throughout the entire show that your body has to be both quirkless and properly prepared in order to wield one for all. Well, all for one has countless quirks and the factors themselves are fighting back within his body. I knew from a mile away that the way it would end is that all for one would take one for all and wouldn’t be able to handle the quirk

With how the intro to season 7 looks for the anime, I believe everything will be shown in season 7 or the big battle put into a movie or part series kinda like how it was for the last few episodes for Attack on Titan.

Honestly all for one falling with only a few hits seems like the right decision. All for one wanted power to seen as the demon KING, he wanted to be a KING and by giving him a death that took little hits seems right. It supports deku's statement that he doesn't acknowledge afo as a KING but rather a lonely man and his death will be seen as him being beaten by a few hits giving him an unsatisfactory death something not befitting of a king.

Thanks God TRASH For One is finally dead for Good this time even with Tomura in the process with the Final arc finally ending with being stretched out too long for years with us now reaching the end of MHA, So much for the talk no jutsu route ending with Izuku saving Tomura with his inner child tenko if he was just gonna die in the process anyway. You know since Izuku pretty much saved the world even sacrificing OFA with the last ember he used ended up being Quirkless Again, I wouldn't be surprised if he or Class 1A graduates UA early considering the whole series takes place in 1 year.
I'm a big fan of villains who realize what they truly are in their last moments. AFO's cries of human despairation were a lot more satisfying as he faded away then if he just died with a villainous "NOOOO!" and that's it.
Though I'll say it's a bit of a shame that Shigaraki didn't revert back into his previous self. This send off was nice but it would've also been nice to see him try to redeem himself as a person. Perhaps he'd emerge as Tenko with little memory of his doings as "Shigaraki or something. That might've just complicated things though.
Nah I think that Shigaraki's story would be ruined if he lived. There's actually too little stories in my opinion where they let a tragic character die to redeem themselves for the whole world.
Shigaraki has a core belief that ties into destruction, and that's not just gonna change if he'd survive. What happened now is that he could die with the knowledge he did everything he could to be that destroyer he imagined himself to be. And by being who he is, thanks to all the pain and suffering and the actions of society around him, he managed to destroy the biggest thing he detested.
But he wouldn't be able to move on. In dying now he actually gets to have peace and lay all his negative emotions to rest. And in a sense that's the most beautiful send off he could have had. Any other changes that you mentioned would take away from who he is as a person. He's not kind, or a hero, honestly if you took away his worst memories you'd be left with an adult that has the mind of a four year old and that would just belittle who he is.
Agreed. The last part was a big issed opportunity but then again, he was destroyed mentally when it all revealed that his childhood tragedy was all orchestrated by Afo from the very start

Shigaraki never regretted dying for his cause at the end that last pannel of him he appeared happy. Maybe also relieved that it was over.

Honestly this was one of my favorite animes I learned about it when it was done with the 2nd season and 3rd season was about to come out and almost every time I watched the new season I would rewatch the whole anime so maybe around 4 or 5 times I have rewatched it and almost every time it would give me goosebumps and for the last season and all of the chapters that came out after it I kept up with it from the videos u made and i honestly feel sad that it's over but at least i can say this if i ever get the opportunity to get all the seasons as a dvd or Blu-ray set i would do it since this is worth having as part of a anime collection and a good anime to show beginning anime watchers or to share with ur kids and if I had the chance I know I would do that. Thank you for the videos you do I love your work and keeping us up to date with everything while we wait for the anime versions to come out
Yes I agree but here are my thoughts on this chapter
First and foremost, we didn’t get to see the entire conversation between Deku and shiggy after he turned into dust. This cannot be the end of him as shiggy must have done something for deku before vanishing thanks to that fist bump they did together. Could that be a quirk to bring back tenko? As for AFO well I am happy he is dead so much for the talk no jutsu deku tried on him since he was going to die as a loser anyway. He made tomura suffer and manipulated him. Shiggy definitely deserved a better fate than this. I just hope OFA has been given back to deku though after he sacrified it. This isn't the final chapter as there are still 10 or 11 more to explain the war's aftermath.
Second, the war has ended but at what cost? What is there to celebrate? Deku wanted to save tomura and he failed that goal. Although he did bring peace to the world by getting rid of AFO and shigaraki for good At least let tomura, Toga, spinner, Mr Compress, Dabi, and Geten have their happy endings as well especially Kurogiri since he has changed for the better. Deku would need lots of hugs after what he had gone through. Deku would be quirkless now and bakugo surpassing him has already been set in motion. This is a legendary chapter, and I nearly cried after reading it. Uraraka better catch deku immediately.

Vol. 40 ended with chapter 410.
Vol. 41 would end around chapter 422.
If Vol. 42's the last one, it should have ~11 chapters after ch.423.
Seems kind of dumb to be quirkless at the end. He should’ve had a quirk of his own on the same scale as one for all but his body could not handle it. And that could be why his arms always broke because it was too much power because he already had a quirk. It just sounds like lazy writing.
I like how how Deku didn’t have OFA anymore and pulled an Edward Elrick and just threw hands with out any special abilities or powers at a god. I also like how the past users plus Shigaraki and Deku jumped an old man.

One thing I'm confused by is I thought Deku was able to finish off Shigi the whole fight with a full punch, but was choosing not to in order to "save him", but Shigi died anyways. Even if Deku couldn't outright win, the whole saving Shigi thing landed weird if it was really just to separate Shigi's consciousness to just send a message to Spinner that he tried his best. Shigi wasn't really saved, lol. And Spinner is a mindless zombie now so he can't get the message anyways. And Shigi never was shown to really care about Spinner as far as I can remember. It's just such a weird way to end the series overall.
His life wasn't saved, but Deku did manage to reach him and get through to him. His soul was saved so to speak, even if Deku couldn't save his body.
There were subtle clues since the Forest Training Camp Arc that Shigaraki respected and eventually came to both trust and care for his comrades. There was also a special focus on Spinner's relationship with Tomura established in MVA (the manga ver., not the anime) and built upon since.
But, yeah, Deku only "saved his heart" in the sense that Shigaraki's tragedy was apparently never society's fault (even though a lot of it still was and definitely is for the rest of the League minus maybe Mr. Compress) and somehow coincidentally awoke what remained of Tomura that Nana Shimura fixed off-screenLOL so he could stick it to AFO.
But, even though Shigaraki's apparently never had any control over his own life, Deku still can't forgive him because fuck him I guess. Judging from Deku's expression, I can't say the kid feels even an IOTA of guilt for failing to save the lives of either Tomura Shigaraki or That Crying ChildTM

Gotta see an ending of people getting back to their daily lives. Hell, maybe seeing the ships be shown (NOT the suspect ones).
I still hope that Midoriya doesn't end up being Quirkless again. I mean, he finally gets to be what's always wanted, only to have his power lost in the end?
If he doesn't end up with One For All, hopefully the last three chapters will show him getting a new power of sorts (maybe through some All For One/One For All power transfer shenanigans, or whatever).
I think his desire to be a hero is stronger than his desire to have a quirk. Even then, I really hope he keeps OFA
