@30:37 Lovell's Response was Classic, as in, 'This might be a bother to you guys on the Ground, but there 3 guys here that have a Special Interest...'

    Wow, this is just great.
All info from MSC was pretty bland, but that was the nature of the times. I was a senior in high school when this occurred. Only now do I appreciate how desperate this actually was. But also a nature of the times was that we could do this; and they did...
...have to wonder if this would would have turned out the same today.

I think its just amazing that they were able to survive and get back home because it could have been a tradgedy as bad as the apolo 1 fire .

Factual error: The Master Alarm did not sound like that mechanical buzzing sound on the Apollo missions! It sounded like that in the Apollo 13 movie for dramatic effect, but in reality it was just a generated tone closer to this - th-cam.com/video/f9INvTu-gOI/w-d-xo.html

During the many burns to get on a return trajectory or the PC+2 burn, didn't the stack escape the debris cloud and/or shed the exterior frozen oxygen?

I used to listen this on podcasts, until I'd realized that I need caption to understand what they are saying....

At 11:00 we hear about how things go in a sudden crisis. "Communication is often incomplete and imperfect". It's now a few weeks after the attempted assination of President Trump. Listen to the words used to describe how things go when all hell breaks loose. I'm not surprised that things whet as poorly as they did.

Adapted from radio format? What a shame. Do you expect me to watch dots float around thru the whole video? NOT...
