*What you need for fresh flowers- available at you local florist or market :
7 packs of white Bonita chrysanthemum (with 5 stems per pack)
18” wet floral foam heart
2 stems of leather leaf (usually come in packs of 15 or 25)
5 yellow roses (usually come in packs of 10)
3 pink roses (usually come in packs of 10)
2 stems of Gyp (usually come in packs of 25)

So pretty!!! Where can I get the foam based heart shape that is used in this video? I want to make one for my boyfriend who passed and his one year mark is coming up. Any tips as this will be my first time doing this!

Thank you lovely. I’m so sorry to hear this. I would recommend Amazon for your foam heart base. You can also get your white chrysanthemums from your local florist or supermarket, although there might be limited flower stems from the supermarket. Yes make the flowers the day before. Get the flowers a few days before, cut the bottoms and pop them in water to open up x

Yes, it’s helpful to mark before you put the flowers in so you don’t put flowers into the section of the spray. I make they spray after I have based the arrangement xx

Hiya! As in using silk flowers? You just have to get a dry heart base and then add the artificial flowers in, no water needed :) xx

If you're doing this with artificial flowers, do you still need to soak the oasis?

Hi lovely! No you don’t need to soak it, but I would recommend getting dry foam for an artificial arrangement. So there are 2 types of floral foam.
Wet and dry. In this video I’m using fresh flowers so I used wet foam which is green.
Dry foam is a brown colour and is tougher so it keeps the artificial stems tighter in the foam xx

These ones don’t go on a stand, there are special heart bases with hooks to put it on a stand. This one lies flat xx

This can be made up to 3 days before as it’s chrysanthemum base, just so the flower spray the day before so it doesn’t wilt as there are a lot of flower stems in there competing for water source xx

If I were to put this on a regular easel, I would secure it on with floristry tape. Alternatively a Floristry easel has a hook and you can get a heart shape oasis base with a plastic back which comes with an attachment at the top so you can hook it on. Xxx
