When this jam came on I almost jumped outta my seat & danced like it was '85-'86 again! But I didn't want to pull a muscle! 😉😂 Someone slightly younger than me commented during the show, Taylor Dayne! I was like, no no! I liked her version too but this was what was playing & the one I loved most!
I know what you mean my fellow New Englander. I live in the New Hampshire seacoast. Back when this song came out another DJ friend of mine and myself came across this song. The first night we threw it on the turntables, the dancefloor erupted!! An absolute eargasm!! A friend of mine who does club work knows Taylor Dayne and I had the opportunity to meet her recently. When we were sitting and chatting, we happened to talk about this particular track. She actually said how much she loved it and wish she could have done the vocals on it as well! :-) Still love the freestyle vibe to this day, and this is one of the finest cuts ever released!!
