Back on the Gabapentin after the test injection. Feeling better. May only need a little outpatient procedure. Will know more on the 17th. Cheers brother.
I’m glad you figured out the problem with the Canadian. I think a 9mm Canadian is gonna be hard to find 🤷🏼♂️ maybe Smoking Pipes eu , it’s gonna have to something like the Savinelli EX series to accommodate a 9mm filter.
I have thought many times about how different pipes smoke blends in various ways. I havent got the expertise to back uo ny thoughts, but its a truism. You know me though, hot coffee, a good 9mm pipe, and some Trout Stream. Mmm good. 🤠
Nice looking pipe Gary. I randomly get some mouth irritation with blends. Doesn't seem to be any ryhme or reason. Just comes and goes.BMP and Trout stream don't taste as good in my meerschaum for some reason. Take care.
Happy to hear you got the filter situation sorted Gary! You post some great questions, I'll have to look through this comment section what kind of answer you got. I'm curious if you ever tried those white elephant Meerschaum filled 6 mm filters. I'm starting to like them more than the charcoal ones because they seem to hold a lot more moisture. Anyways, I'm just getting caught up on some videos 😊 Take care!
Thanks Jesse. I haven’t tried them but will definitely look into them. I only have one 6mm pipe at the present. Really like your channel - great content. Crazy stuff going on within the community. Hope it settles down soon.
I also love the look of a Canadian - don’t have one yet though - so glad that you were able to sort out the filter on yours! And I’m looking forward to hearing the results of your experiment with your beloved Burley blends! Cheers my friend!
Daughter and son-in-law got it for me a few Summers ago. SIL’s family on a cabin in Ontario. I’m venturing out and exploring more straight pipes. Thanks for dropping by.
Get yourself a drill bit and by hand only, lengthen the filter space in the shank to accommodate any filter. You've a long way to go to get to the bowl! What's giving you the tongue bite is guesswork, most likely a topping or something other added during the process. I was adamant i wasn't using filters and avoid buying any tobacco that does bite though i will suffer through the usual 2oz samples and use different pipes to test. Dry cobs help me accomplish this but never completely remove the irritant. Borkum riff cherry gave me 2 days of bite after i finished it...!
Yeah. I used a carbide drill bit to lengthen the 9mm hole in the mortise of a Briarworks billiard. A balsa wood filter would fit but it was smashed in. I hand-turned the bit until I increased the depth 2mm to get the tenon and mortise to fit flush with a charcoal filter.
Good Morning 😊 Beautiful Pipe 😍 Thanks for sharing and a pipe with me 🌬💨💨 Have a wonderful day 🙏🏽 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you Yusuf.
That’s a beautiful Canadian pipe Gary
Thank you Bob. I thought I would add a couple of straight pipes to my collection. Not many filtered Canadian pipes out there.
Hi Gary, glad you’re feeling better!

Now You have a customized pipe. I thought You may get rid of it after the other day.
I think it will smoke OK. Thanks.
A different tobacco on a Saturday in the Jack Ryan 🤦🏻♂️😂
Second bowl now with BMP. I can’t detect any ghosting 🤣 Hope you’re having a good weekend. Do you have a holiday Monday?
@@Stillypapabear we do indeed Gary 😊
Date night tonight 😊
I think it’s mostly burley cavendish used in blends. But I’m not 100%sure. Happy smokes
Thanks. I guess only the blender knows for sure 😂
I did enjoy the video but I have no quick answers about the tobacco and tongue bite. I'm sure you will figure it out
Thank you sir.

Thanks for dropping by. I’ve been looking. I haven’t looked at the Savinelli website. I’ll check them out.
Good questions, pure Virginias can leave me with stinky aftertaste, almost dirty ashtray flavor…
Pure Virginia burn my mouth.
