Mine as well I try not to listen to Athletes, personal lives because we don't know them. We feel like we do, but we really don't. It's pretty sad because none of us were there and charges were dropped. So I hope the big guy can get back on the ice with another team. It's never gonna be the bruins again sadly I mean, I truly believe he has a drinking problem. And that's why he's still in the NHL. PA program and once he's cleared, he can seriously come back faster and hand-eye coordination. It's gonna be way better if he's sober. I can see him putting up. Some number is on a team. If he's truly healthy and sober.I wish him and his family nothing but love and luck
He's done. Looks like a beat up old man. The Bruins wasted some dollars on that guy. He WAS a great player , but it's best he moves on. Unsure how he would be received anywhere honestly.IMO. What little time he played again with the Bruins he was marginal. Nostalgia from the crowd was all it was. I was fortunate to see him play at his best years ago.
First things first I apologize for some of my comments on Looch earlier I was in a dark place. I was given information and he has had a rough ride. I know deep down he has a really good heart and lost it once. Give him another chance whether it's the Bruins or another team. We all make mistakes and we all can learn from them. I'm worried about the B's. Ullmark would never have done what Sway is doing and I just pray we can be a great team and heal from all this adversity. General comment- hockey may be a rough game, but they are all humans and most are good. Don't make ill conceived judgements- it's not right.
YUP. Stupid move. Swayman will be the one to have the front office over a burner at the end of all of this. Jacobs would never forfeit the possibility of a strong season for vanity.
Sounds like Lucic did a no-no, police were called, he got arrested. They went for a conviction but his wife wanted no part of seeing him face one so she refused to testify. Without her, charges dropped. This culture of punishing people just for being accused of crimes etc. is just horrible. The man was not convicted so let him play the game FFS. If he can serve Boston than all the better, if not let him go to a team he can serve. IMO
Well said. Everybody screws up from time to time, and I've always believed in second chances.....I'd love to see him get one more chance with the B's as long as he stays off the sauce. GO B's!!!
Yeah… I have defended Lucic since this happened. But.. BUT I’ll never say he did nothing wrong or just forget it. He fucked up, he ruined his family. He his ex wife and his children will carry this forever. He’s taken the right steps since he assaulted his wife. Just because they didn’t convict him, just because his ex wife didn’t want to prosecute him. Doesn’t mean what happened didn’t. He’s lucky Massachusetts didn’t throw the book at him like they’ve done to thousands of other men that have made mistakes. I hope the bruins bring him back. Would be nice to see him face the media and show the world that you can come back from the brink, hold yourself accountable and continue on with who he’s supposed to be as a person. A father a provider and role model for young men aspiring to knock people through glass walls on frozen water
@@jacobheaman500 Yeah, I'm glad he didn't get charged, and hopefully will stay off the booze, which is the biggest reason he did what he did. I would like to see the Bruins give him one more chance, but I'm not so sure they will. Either way, he MUST remain sober the rest of his life if he wants to get his life back. I've seen too many people have their lives totally ruined by alcohol and/or drugs, so I hope he can stay sober, and take it one day at a time. All the best to Looch and his family.
@@jacobheaman500 Thing is, unless you know more than me, we have zero idea of to what extent Lucic did what. Is there some huge history, or was it a random out of nowhere event? Did he hit her or threaten to hit her? I would imagine if the police wanted to charge him despite the wife not bringing charges, he must have assaulted her as you say. I did not say he is some innocent angel but he was convicted of nothing and entered the program to stop drinking. Let him earn a living so he can continue to be a productive citizen. Who even knows if he has a drinking problem really? In today's cancel culture it's best he says he has one LOL If you have 1 drink a day they consider you an alcoholic also.
That whole situation is weird. Lucic was suspended by the league when? He was injured, he had his situation. He entered the player assistance program and the Bruins suspended him. When did the league get involved? Is it because of his entering the program? That doesn't seem to track.
Swayman has never mentioned any numbers in the media. The only numbers that have been mentioned our what the supposed experts think. You claiming it’s Sway saying it is absolutely false. Should be ashamed!
Clearly something took place as the police were going ahead with charges despite the wife not wanting to give testimony. Without her testimony they did not have enough to convict. Amber would have lied and testified LOL
if they can get something for Lucic then do that, but in typical Bruins fashion they tend to lose out on opportunities like this, he is past his prime and a known anger management candidate
Lucic made a mistake... It was a domestic situation that has nothing to do with on ice play. The charges were dropped and he's going through a divorce. Let him play and be able to end his career on the ice.
exactly, and mistakes have consequences-in this case, losing your ability to play hockey at the nhl level. he can go get a normal job like the rest of the world. hope this helps x
As great as Marchy has been, I feel (unfortunately) he will alway be remembered for skating off the ice in Game 7 against the Blues, which ended up with the puck in the back of our net. Unfortunate, but that's how the cookie crumbles.
everyone in the comments claiming that "people make mistakes" need to remember that domestic violence isnt a parking ticket, its a crime. no matter how much you liked lucic as a player, at the end of the day he's a man who put hands on his wife. its not 2011 anymore get over him
Mitchell Miller anyone? There is zero chance Lucic ends up on the Bruins after that debacle with Miller, they don't want that kind of press. Regardless the last thing the B's need is a slow prodding has-been. Loved him during his first stint here, but time to move on.
I hope a team gives Lucic a chance. People make mistakes, it happens. His entire career shouldn't be defined by one bad off ice moment.
Can't help it I love Looch. He was my favourite Bruin.

Same here I mean it's great that Lucic's now ex wife never actually press charges on him but in return it ruin his reputation and his career.

Can't wait for bruins hockey
Why on earth would they trade Ullmark for pennies on the dollar without reaching an agreement with Swayman first? 🙄
Because Sweeney is a Shame
YUP. Stupid move. Swayman will be the one to have the front office over a burner at the end of all of this. Jacobs would never forfeit the possibility of a strong season for vanity.
This isnt a dig at swayman, this is a captain showing his younger teammate how to conduct himself as a professionals.
It's also to take the heat off of sway with people thinking that he's asking for 10m
Swayman has done nothing wrong Marchand is a Rat and shouldn't Captain ANYTHING.
Kristian Kostadinski will be the 4th Bruins prospect tied to Boston College. The other three are: Andre Gasseau, Oscar Jellvik and Dean Letourneau.
I hope Lucic can come back some where in the NHL
if i were the bruins they should give lucic a two year extension. They just got him back last year and he hardly played
Keep it up Kirk! 🔥
Bring Lucic to Vancouver!

are not our
Lucic would have been way better than the useless Maroon.
Get faster, not slower. We saw maroon in the fla series
Its not Swayman who's doimg the talking, its people like you who hear something and re-package it on a podcast. Stick to your day job

That's incredibly insane to sign Lucic. He's been slow for the last 9+ years.
That’s incredibly insane thinking we got him for his skating ability 😂
Lucic did nothing wrong
Finally Jack Edwards is gone. Might actually be able to watch some games. Gonna be a tougher team that’s for sure.
Lucic is a 36 soon to be 37 year old that can't skate any more in a speed league. Move along.
but he can still knock out those who attack our guys....
