  • This warm and purposeful book was written to support children who feel different from their peers because they are neurodivergent. The book aptly points out that no one should be defined solely by their disability - everyone has many facets, or many stripes. 68 out of every 100 people are considered autistic, so it's very likely we all know at least one person with ASD.
This book also helps typically developing children see that all children, regardless of their differences should be respected and everyone should be accepted just the way they are.
Shaina Rudolph and Danielle Royer co-wrote this book since they both have a passion for supporting children with differences. They live in Southern California.
Jennifer Zivoin illustrated this beautiful book. Each character in the book shows their personality through their stripes. The expressions on the faces and the quirky additions Jennifer has added to the pages will delight all readers. Who doesn't love cute zebras!?
