I know their manager said there's been a sickness bug going through their camp and players were vomiting at HT and maybe there's something in that because they looked like they didn't wanna be there. Also nearly 500 Notts fans and they didn't utter a peep - did they even sing one song at all?!

I think it'd cost less than a fine from these scallies trying to run on the pitch then to pay these doormen who I heard tried to headbutt on of our own and told them to sit down before and during h/t it's not on but if it's to stop anti-social behaviour of all kinds, then so be it
What needs to be addressed is the anti-social, dangerous, and rule-breaking behaviour of a small minority who think they can throw things at the lower tiers, block the stairways, invade the pitch, shine lasers, and so forth.

@@jackie_boy7 The stewards are there because a small but significant number are going to get the club into trouble with unacceptable and sometimes dangerous behaviour (I was hit on the head in LT3 by a coin last season - I’ve no problem with whoever did it being frog-marched out and banned). How the stewards behave generally is an entirely separate issue, but I do agree that they need to get the balance right between asking nicely and dealing with miscreants forcefully. The stewards are there for a reason; the problem is not the stewards, but the behaviour that makes their increasing presence necessary.
