Hi there ED. I love your videos alot. Especially this one with Lara jumping over the cliff. Please I would like to ask can you do a tutorial video on Hitfilm express showing how to move camera background from one place to another like you did on this video. It would be amazingly Helpful. Thanks alot. KINGS.
While it is one person, that doesn't take away from the fact that animation (traditional/2D or modern/3D) is a very tedious job, they should get more credit than they already do.
Yeah animating is really difficult and time taking When I think about me needeing a whole day just to animate like 3 seconds it can get a bit exhausting too And I'm not even nearly as good as Ed Tadeo is
dont listen to dreamy, hes/shes just trying to be mean... *YOU* yes *YOU!* are are the best... and no one is peasants, we are all equal... _WE ARE ALL HUMAN_
I appreciate that you put the finished animation at the beginning, most people probably would leave it for the end, so that you watch the whole video, but I feel like most people would get bored and skip to the end, where when it's at the beginning, I get what I came for almost right away, and then stick around for all the cool details... Although that's probably not true for everyone... Because I am clearly an expert on psychology XD
Just some constructive criticism The jump Feels weird like she floating across the sky rather than jumping, basically I don’t feel the weight/gravity. Possible solution: I would play with in and out timing of the jump, for example decrease the frames at the end of her arc so we feel she gaining momentum as she falls more. Maybe a bit more recoil at the end or something. I just think the movement needs more contrast per say Anyway hopefully this helps May this drown in the sea of comments.
Tejas of course last thing I watch animation is realism, but I think believability is an important aspect, animation doesn’t need to look real it just need to “feel right /believable, in this case I feel it doesn’t work, and looking back now after studying and practicing animation more the spacing of drawing is even;all drawing are drawn evenly apart which basically is a death wish to The Illusion of weight in animation. Weight a concept from 12 animation principles. And generally its commonly agreed having weight in ur animation makes it good. To put it simply even = boring, variety =interesting. But Really I’m just biased here I’ve done big stupid parkour jumps as any stupid kid trys and that shit hits fast! And yeah this is my personal opinion somewhat informed not expert, maybe I swayed ur opinion or at least new perspective look at .
I am not sure what items you what me to review, but I'm currently using Krita 4.1.7, which is quite old. Newer version have a bug on my computer so I'd skip on that for now. Thanks for commenting.
@@EdTadeo new to your channel must say be cool see a longer animation in your style made up by yourself .but I know they take long time .Keep it up tho subbed
Salut Ed!
great sound, AND NICE character design, and animation. My tip: After she jumps, you could just make a shot of her, hear flowing in the wind with that music would be so cool, camera moving from her to the view or vice-versa :)
I don't know what you mean, but is it about panning the camera? I used Hitfilm Express for editing. I didn't do the compositing in Krita itself. Check out my other videos about editing.
the jump looks really odd, like she's riding on an imaginary zipline. but other than that, I like this animation, with the details and the changing camera angle.
🥰🌠Aaah very nice guy, I really enjoyed your animation. I wanted to know how you can animate the background so that it moves from side to side! if you can give me this tip, because I intend to start doing animations too! Appreciate! 👍✨💕
You're really good, but you still need to work on the fundamentals. It's not only a matter on anatomy, the model changes too much frame to frame. It means you can't keep the shapes consistent and that is essential for animation. Your storyboarding and render are good but can only get better if you work on controling your basic shapes and reinforcing anatomy.

The amount of time it takes just to make one scene is crazy
Now imagine a job at a major film company ...
@Ruben Colon True. But the scope of work with complexity of the tasks at a completely different level.

And I'm not even nearly as good as Ed Tadeo is
this is why big studios not only need tons of animators but also lots of time
he's secretly making a tomb raider film
Hours just for 6 seconds of animation. Damn.
I know, right?! >_

Aaaah yes! Lora Croft the first character I've seen you animate! 😅🎞️🖌️
I think he really loves her.
Never thought I'd animate her. Hehe! Thanks for commenting!
@@EdTadeo No problem I love watching actually pull through with animations! Something I'm yet to accomplish. 😅
I've been trying to learn to animate. Your videos are the best references for me so far. 👍
are you also using krita?
@@PoiTorres krita is free so I think that yes but idk, I think that krita is a really good program to animate, is has a lot of pencils and stuff :3

A great animation as always.
I recomend you to improve the particles and movement of background objects in interaction with the character 👍
Super love it
Yeah, I should have put dusts too on the landing part. ^_^
Super love it

That background motion blur. Wow!
Damn love the music hahaha!! AWESOME animation and process video love IT!
Very good
That was great! Always loved Lara Croft ('96 through Underworld). Well done, Ed!
very nice job!
This is awesome

Me watching this: oh yeah, it's all coming together
Amazing job!!!
Just-- perfect
😳💕💕💕👌
На то, как создаётся анимация можно смотреть бесконечно :)
Я был очарован в этой области, когда смотрел за кулисами Диснея. Спасибо за комментарий.

Bro that perspective was really good man!
Dude you have to checkout blender 2.80 grease pencil
Awesome animation btw
I already did. It is a great feature for Blender, but it doesn't fit my idea for line drawings. :)
Cool job, mate. Worth a lot just to everyone who watch's this.👍👍👌
Amazing work i must say. ❤🎮💡
This scene might take me a month! Awesome job!
I can't wait to get this good
Brilliant 💗
Nice work dude! Playlist please and I will start drawing/animating like you! ;D!
your the man I whish I could do this
she look like a small girl in the 12 years old but still great animation keep up the good work
It's a style. ^_^
Awesome!!!
Great inspiration....
That's so cool
Awesome work! Also how do you make the "Camera" move?
wow
Whoa
That was smooth.
Are you interested to take a look at blender's grease pencil?
I tried. It's a nice program but it doesn't fit my criteria for doing line art. :)
@@EdTadeo yeah, that's why I only use blender for 3d stuff xD
I use Opentoonz for animation but I might give krita a shot.
Which one is easier I wonder open tonic or Krita? Can you give me your opinion ? Thanks
@@TiffanyNg100 my opinion krita. its straight forward
Poi Torres thanks
People talk about how much time it takes to make an animation but will defend their “right” to watch anime for free.
you are so amazing
Bravo :)
Deadpool next please
If only I have more time on Deadpool. ^_^
Great process video.
Hey Ed?
How we can draw out the canvas In krita? Or out the camera view?

You should make a Megaman X animation.🙂

i feeling you so👍,how many times to finshed the one scene
How long should i practice to get good with the graphics tablet, not the screeen one.
I use that non-screen tablet too. I was using Wacom Graphire 3 before I got Huion. I'm sure you will get use to it. Don't rush it. :)
