I was worried I would be forced to go through the game without access to most of the pokemon I want right away but it sounds like I have the option to snag them from the different areas they may be in. Disregarding what level I may be on at the time.🤔
Checked this way after finishing the game. I played through the entire game without knowing anything. I did gyms in a much different order. Grusha was my third, which made me expect the champ to be around level 100 with how steep the levels rose from bug to water to ice. I grinded a lot to match grusha's power and then swept every other gym... They give us an open world where you can do tasks in any order but don't make tasks allow any order. Gyms should've scaled properly with you just like in Pokemon Origins
I need this game in my grubby little hands right now or I will burst- I am so excited to get my game when it comes! I got it from Japan too so I get some cool pre-order bonuses! Hella excited for it to get here. :DDD
I personally recommend doing the history class because it gives you shrine locations for the new 4 legendaries! From there you'll have an idea on which area you need to look so you can unlock them.
It's a shame the shiny noise didn't return, but at least it still shows up visually kind of. I still prefer the sound. I do like that Koraidon's and Miraidon's have to be unlocked by the Titans. I'm assuming the Herba Mystica is fed to them or some kind of soup? to unlock ride features
Some of us do like leaks. If you didn’t want to see spoilers why did you press on the videos?? Pftt!! It’s pretty easy not to press on the videos if you wanted to play the game blind.
Adrive, as a nuzlocker what do you make of the Let's Go feature? Should it be banned in hardcore Nuzlockes? What about more casual rules? I mean in theory it means you can level a team, albeit slowly, without any risk as long as you monitor HP. And with auto heal you have an extra layer of protection So yeah, thoughts?
In the words of the world's best nuzlocker, "Grinding is cringe and cheating is based." In all seriousness though, trainer battles are optional, so you could level to the level cap and head for the objectives. Depends on the kinds of rulesets you like, really.
I definitely am someone who turns off auto save too but this time I am leaving it on because a few days ago while trying to evolve my charcadet into armorouge the game bugged out and got stuck on the evolution screen causing me to have to restart my game and be forced to do over the last two gyms again. So to play the game for the second time it gonna stay on. I’ll turn it off if I find a shiny or something
I started Violet and I'm just taking my time getting to enjoy the game. I'm not focused on story or anything, I'm grateful you showed the graphic of the "correct order" to play. I just want to explore the Western & Eastern parts of the map to the grass and Psychic gyms, seeking out Tera battles and Tera mons while seeing new pokemon on the routes/areas
I know I understand letting people choose if you wanna follow the order but there should be some kind of list of the best way to do it even if its just your friend of the mission you being able to call them and they can tell you like I heard about this one

I only had audio of this going because I didn't want to see a clip of gameplay lol. The only time I looked was to take a pic of your preferred order of how to do the story. That may come in handy.
I've had 2 crashes, playing on the normal switch, both times I was in an area with a lot of pokemon popping in and in my box. Been accessing box near pokemon centers, so far no more issues.
I did NOT know that about the shinies and not being attacked in the Let's Go feature. That's so helpful. Especially, with those Pokémon that are one stupid shade off their originals for their shiny version. 😑
I was doing the normal gym test. Already had 4 gyms, 3 titans, and 2 star bases, and I bought the rice all from the gym test and my game crashed… to the beginning. The auto save didn’t work…
OMG finally the confirmation I needed, in that case I'll go out and catch a Shroodle now, I thought you would've needed to hunt the specific Tera type but good, cuz I noticed those you catch in the wild are just one or the other of their original types
@@LuckyOwI777 I hope it can be found in the wild as normal, but if not I'd rather have it to be able to appear in a raid den at random as It evolution requires online or local coop not great if none of your friends have this game or you don't have nintendo online. So I doubt it will just appear in the wild normally.
Why recommend turning OFF autosave with the fear of “losing data” as the reasoning? It doesn’t need to be on for everyone, but you’re more at risk of losing a significant amount of progress if your game crashes without autosave on. It just comes down to personal preference.
So grateful for the optimal route to take, I love the open world but without a linear path it can really hinder your enjoyment imo. Hate being too OP for an area in a game like this. Big thanks aDrive💪🏻🐜🐝🐞🦗🕷🦂🦟🕸🦋🐌💪🏻
I saw a shiny hoppip and it was too far away and too high up to battle. This was less than 3 hours into the game. I really wish I knew saving would give me another chance.

I feel like I’m playing Pokémon Scarlet Zero, “Zero” as in Prequel. I haven’t gotten around to collecting any gym leaders or Team Star Admins but have been ditching school to explore the region and fight Titans. My player character is basically the side character of the main story regarding gym battles but is the MC in this prequel. My unit would probably be a teen or an adult when it decides to switch to inexperienced pokemon for when it finally starts back up with school and gym battles?
I actually don't know when I can play. All I know is that it takes a few days before the store here gets stocked with, well, any game the past few years (covid restrictions and all), so I might as well check up on other news and hope it doesn't take a toll on my mental health as I crave to play the game. On the side note- this isn't the only 'new' game I'm playing, as I've recently bought the DLCs for Sw/Sh. A bit late, but hey, just in time to reset my game progress.
overall im excited to start playing. ive been there for every new pokemon game since like USUM and even though most of the time i didnt get them on release i really enjoyed watching content of them, this is the same as i dont have the game yet but it looks fairly good.
I think I got the aDrive bug luck with me because I found a Shiny Scatterbug in my first 2h of playtime. Luckily it was easy to spot because it was hiding in darker grass but still it's quite small and I think Shinys are very much missable in this game simply because they are tiny.
Very useful content but could you clarify: Koraidon/Miraidon's stats (and assuming nature) are determined when you first encounter them - can you check which stats/nature they have? Generally try to get a decent nature for legendaries rather than rely on mints - pokemon you can breed im not too worried about

I'm playing it right now and wow.... the performance is SO SO bad that it's just unplayable to me. Everytime I throw a Pokeball to catch a Pokemon it freezes halfway and sometimes half of the map just dissappears??? There are weird moments when just nothing happens for like 5 seconds after every cutscene because it's loading again.... When I'm in the big city, the people and Pokemon walking around are in 2 FPS or something and appear and dissappear depending on how close you are to them. The whole city is flickering SO much that it's annoying to the eyes. Everytime I try to enter a building that doesn't have anything inside, the camera gets SUPER close to the door so that it's annoying to orientate myself again. For some reason the camera angles are just always weird... especially in battle. When I try to buy clothes, every option takes really long to load and I lose patience and just don't buy anything just to escape that menu... I don't think I can play this game 😐 I just glitched myself on to a small island in a pond and I can't escape anymore.... I can't use Koraidon yet... and can't glitch myself back... It autosaved.
If you share worlds with friends and family its best to just make a pact to share the shinies y'all do see and just set up a "wish list of sorts" if there is a shiny a family memeber really wants could make a rule to catch it and trade it to the family member who really wanted it. Otherwise you get to keep whatever shinies you find.
@@Divinity582 Well if my nieces wanted a specific shiny I'd rather surprise them when we all meet up and trade than flex on them XD. If anything I'd rather see my families wishes fullfilled this holiday season than have them sad and moppey.

Im still level grinding anyway because I just want to beat the game before Christmas, and fill up my dex before February 2023, due to plains of shiny hunting in this game.
My only real question is about catching pokemon, I want noibat, he is in a lv 30 zone, can I go catch him right off the bat or do I need to complete some elements in order to catch pkmn of certain levels like in arceus?
2 hours before getting to go into the true open world part of the game? Try 9.5 hours before getting into the school’s courtyard lol. I’ve been enthralled with the game…and yes, some of it was collecting Pokemon for Surprise Trading. I got a Sprigatito out of it, but no Quaxly yet :(
Anyways I actually wanted to speed through because my ultimate goal was to fully unlock all of koraidon's abilities, everyone has their own goals though

It’s pretty easy to find a recommended path online I for one want to go in reverse which ignoring the elite 4, the final team star battles, the final titan battles and area zero Would be fighting the fighting crew which highest level is like 56 lol
I don't think I have ever seen a Pokémon consistently remain by a player's side in the open areas. Is that because they lag behind you that far or is it because your Pokémon only come out during let's go battles?
It is super weird hearing people refer to fainting pokemon as killing them or your pokemon dying. We aren't masters over life and death lol we can't revive them XD
Also, I believe that Lechonk, while not staying in the exact same spot, is guaranteed to be shiny, other TH-camrs have caught it, I caught it, and every time I see footage of it it's a critical capture, that's pretty cool cuz I love that it's shiny is pink
Question, to play in multi-player does your friend need to have the Nintendo online thing? Or could they join if they are connected to the same wifi as you?
FYI I would save before entering the city with the electric gym leader as that for my had the most lag and frame glitches which ultimately crashed my game

Them removing the overworld shiny aesthetic was beyond stupid. Even if legends was made alongside gen 9 they could have easily implemented this after seeing how well received LoA features were.

I don't understand why they made the dumb decision to shiny lock starters and legendaries. That was one of the things that made the older games great. If you wanted to start with a shiny you could. why do they do it? I get shiny locking the legendaries because they want to make more stupid events to get more attention later on. Stupid, but I get it. Why shiny lock the starters?

I'm pretty sure you have to do the classes to unlock the full endgame.

How did you get it early. Says yo take time playing the game and they you can only play a new game one, but skips classes as part of the game

How much time does it take to unlock trading? I have two switches so I usually grind both to unlock trading to get all the starters.

LoL I didn’t do ANY trainers unless required like nemona until I saw a reward for it but it was really underwhelming so i didn’t do any others
so are there no audio cues at all? Meaning, even when you run into the Pokémon and hear the cry?
There’s an audible sparkle when you enter a battle with a shiny Pokémon, but no audio cue in the overworld.

Autosave actually saved me, i had played for 8 hours without saving and the game suddenly crashed, almost lost an entire day of gameplay

Fire stone can be found at random so you'd be lucky to find one right away. By the time I finished the game I think I had around 2 or 3.
I think they should add music to the shinies
FYI I would save before entering the city with the electric gym leader as that for my had the most lag and frame glitches which ultimately crashed my game

@@tyler6971 I’m playing on the switch. I’ve encountered a variety of graphical and preformance issues but the one city I mentioned was the only notable one

Them removing the overworld shiny aesthetic was beyond stupid. Even if legends was made alongside gen 9 they could have easily implemented this after seeing how well received LoA features were.

Auto save is not recommend because it can sometimes save when u don't want it to.

I don't understand why they made the dumb decision to shiny lock starters and legendaries. That was one of the things that made the older games great. If you wanted to start with a shiny you could. why do they do it? I get shiny locking the legendaries because they want to make more stupid events to get more attention later on. Stupid, but I get it. Why shiny lock the starters?
as stupid as it sounds is to have consistence with the cutscenes
