Hahaha that is SPOT ON for every variation brother well done! I'm an Australian born Macedonian woman that was part of a few Macedonian Folk Dance Troupes in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, and I have a lot of Serbian, Bulgarian, Romanian, , Bosnian, Croatian, and Israeli friends/family so I'm more than familiar with the styles. You are great at recreating them so again, well done Noam! :)
Greeting from the UK :) Man, this sounds incredibly wonderful. I did not realise Balkan has such a rich music heritage until recently. I would be extremely grateful if you make a full version of at least one of the 5 versions. Or maybe a medley.
Top balkan accordionists from Serbia , Macedonia , Romania and Bulgaria are far the best players in the world , and their technique is another universe comparing to the rest of the world . Problem is , that western world does not understand that style of music , so it is not commercial , therefore it is unknown to the western culture. Greetings from Serbia.
@@NoamOxman They are good , but God level as a romanian acordeonist were Marcel Budală, Vasile Pandelescu, Ion Onoriu and many others . The new generation as Paul Stângă, Corin Eremia

Amazing, this is how it really sound, Romanian at least for me the most difficult to play, their thrillers etc, but very interesting differences and similarities ...also great performing quality BRAVO
Hello there, I'm a romanian and my opinion of the romanian style is that in some cases is easy and other more harder . For me is "easy" because maybe I have that music in my blood
Man you TOTALLY NAILED IT!!!!!!! Every style played to perfection. Well done... seriously. I very rarely leave comments, but I had to write one to say how good you played them. Brilliant!!!!! Cheers from Australia.
Thank you so much man!!! I'm glad you liked it! There are a few more videos on my channel where I take songs and arrange them in Balkan styles. Look for them if you are interested...
I'm an Australian Anglo-celt ,our music is very straight forward I love it and play it on button accordian ,but I've found these styles so wild and just love it !! Makes me almost jump out of my skin or dance!!

I heard some Israeli music on a posh birthday party in London. The melodies were familiar. It sounded like it arrived form Macedonia, lets say around Thessaloniki. Perhaps that is the reason why you have feel for Balkan sound. Best regards.
A large part of Israeli culture embraced Greek music so there are a lot of "Israeli" songs that are just covers of Greek songs with Hebrew lyrics. That's probably what you heard...
This is beautiful, I am currently trying to figure out how to play in these styles. Would you be able to give me any tips? I am using a bayan rather than a piano accordion.
Noam Oxman many romanians left the country to go to Israel, wonderful educated people that made Israel what it is today,I hope that some day they will come back with their families to the country where they originated😁!
I know... All of the Jews in Israel are immigrants, and lots of them are from eastern Europe. One of my professors for score reading at the music academy was from Romania. A highly educated guy, but only in classical music :). He knows nothing about the wonderful folklore culture of Romania!
As much as I wanna get into playing the accordion, I’m worried that I will lose interest in playing it. Beautiful styles regardless, very nice to listen to.
Being former Macedonian accordion player i can confirm you nailed all 5 styles, good job sir lots of love to Israel from Macedonia. If you are interested more on playing our music i suggest you to listen some "Oro", check out " Kočovo Oro " by Kočo Petrovski or " Ergensko Oro " also by Kočo Petrovski, the first one is originally in 1/16 note but when the musicians are excited they sometimes play it in 1/32 lol, i think have the note sheets of those if i haven't lost them by now but if you need some sheets from our music i will scan some for you
Good job perfect. But i think that both the Bulgarian an Macedonian style are just Bulgarian style. I enjoyed listening to your music . Greetings from Bulgaria
No I don't, but I wish I did because it's seriously my favorite instrument! I play woodwinds. I guess accordion has just never really been available for me, otherwise I might've tried to learn it. Tbh I don't even know where to find one here other than from the internet lol. And I watched the other two videos, the ornamentations just blow my mind! So different from any of the music I've grown up with and trained in.
Yes the crazy ornamentations of these styles are one of the elements that originally attracted me to learn how to play them. It's just endless! Anyways, there are a lot of amazing winds players in Balkan music. Look for Ivo Papazov - the best Bulgarian clarinet player and continue from there. There's a lot of incredible sax, flute, clarinet and even bassoon music in the Balkans.

Great to hear all 4 styles. They make the melody sound so unique and individual. Fantastic.

This is amazing. The same melody perfectly fits all 5 styles as if it were originally from each of all these 5 places. There is something in it...
as a romanian I can say you got the romanian version about 95% in style and also I like serbian the best
