Those have cried up regional language, they have already forgotten ias and oas is such a parameter where English is completely essential, because they have to communicate various segments like high level meetings, and public relating question, as well as media related activities, but I think decision taken by the govt is appropriate and up to date,

One thing i learned from here(Many selected candidates mock interviews) that here, language (eng) doesn't matter much...the thing that matters the most is how confidently we represent our ans with proper data !!!Atlast,an OAS officer is going posted in rural areas where,you have to interact with local people with local language..!!!

6:15 Even though It is mock interview conducted by the Private institute for exam preparation but just look at the level of seriousness of panel member ,one of them talking in mobile phone inside the room and that to while the candidate was answering the questions.I mean this is how India will get their Bureaucrats .

It's not so easy as it seems. It not about English at all.
She is talented otherwise she can't clear written 2times . But she is nervous because ,her communication skill is not good. It can't define her talent. it's a mock ..test I think she was good at her real interview . Because practice makes a man perfect.

one can talk in Odia or any native language even in ias interview. It is already legalized by SUPREME COURT OF INDIA.It is the candidates job to request the panel to answer the questions in its native language and the panel can not ignore this request if they do then legal actions can be taken against the panel of interviewers.
Here it's a mock interview by this private institution .
so the panel must not only ask questions and check answers but they must give training to candidates for improvement in their Body language and the panel themselves must say to the candidates please talk in Odia if you are not comfortable with English.
And just see the seriousness of panel member ,one of them talking in mobile phone inside the room and that to while the candidate was answering the questions.I mean this is how India will get their Bureaucrats .
