Sadly, I don't think people outside the SEC realize how much playoff expansion helps us. More big playoff games open up more injuries, which brings into account depth, which helps teams like UGA, Bama, and LSU. #GoDawgs
Exactly!!! A lot of these changes to college football are money related but most importantly they think it will bring more parity but it actually won’t. That will just allow 3 sec teams in the playoffs every year and sometimes 4 and any of the top 3-4 sec teams with a second chance can will it all.

Blame Tennessee for losing 63-38 to South Carolina. Blame Clemson for also losing to South Carolina. Do not blame the committee who doesn’t have the benefit of hindsight for not being able to predict the most lopsided result in bowl game history.
@@theread3480 I’m no Nostradamus, but I knew it was going to be a blowout. Any of the teams you just mentioned would have had a better performance against Georgia. It’s always been about the best 4 teams period. Not the teams with the best records especially if they play in a shitty conference. I knew when Alabama blew out KState that the committee made a huge mistake and so did lots of other people. I am not saying we would have won against Georgia, but I don’t think most fans would have stopped watching at halftime. I’m sure the advertisers did not like it one bit either so it was not good in that aspect either. In no way can you convince me that TCU deserved to be there with their performance. 65-7, come on man! Good thing they realize the system is broken and are going to a 12 team playoff in 2024.

They went undefeated in the regular season and their only loss prior to last night came in the conference championship. They beat Michigan when nobody expected it. Bama lost 2 games and didn’t even make it to their conference championship. That’s not how it works.
